OT, Just heard Rihanna's new song, Cheers (drink to that), am I wrong or is that Avril Lavigne in the song, that doing that yeh-ee-yah, ye-ee-yah over and over again? Sound like they took an excerpt from her doing that phrase from I'm With You and put it into the song.. Nope, you're not wrong. 'Tis indeed a clip from Avril's song. ;D

Heh heh heh Overdid the cookie making. So, we decided to drop them off at the block party host's house since we figured they'd be depressed (and frankly, we had too many cookies). Got there to find a steady stream of people wandering by. Apparently, everyone ignored the "its canceled" text because EVERYONE made too much food, and so the canceled party magically reconviened one house over to a neighbor with a wrap-around porch. So after some confusion, the grills just got pushed over to the new party house, peeps raided nearby houses for extra dishes, and we had an awesome pre-hurricane party. Smaller kidlets jumped around downstairs. Bigger kids played football in the rain. The rest of us got only slightly damp on the porch drinking beer, eating BBQ, petting wet dogs, and placing bets on the length of our power outages. Back home. And after a look in the mirror where I said, "I cannot believe I went to a party looking like THAT" (thought we were just dropping off cookies, was wearing the same dirty clothes that I had been working outside in ), brought the last few items off the porch. Still slightly potted. However, I *did* actually see Adam on the TV at the party! I think there was some sort of promo for the VMA or something, and he was on a rotation with Rhianna, Brittany, etc. Sound was off, and only saw out of the corner of my eye, but I nearly squeed! Off to take a much-needed shower. Glad you all had such a great time!! I'm sure no one cared how you were dressed - times like these bring neighbors together no matter what.

Pretty sure Drake got his dog after Adam, so do not think thta is Adam. I could be wrong though. Does anyone remember when Sia tweeted that an artist that she wrote a song with, was recording that song with a female urban icon? I would still like to see Adam do a duet with someone that would help him make a huge break thru with the reluctant CHR stations. 9th of June and I agree with you. :D twitter.com/#!/siamusic/status/78575254829666304 @siamusic sia furler i just found out an urban music legend is cutting a song i wrote for a dudes album. she is guesting on it. blind items are fun. 9 Jun via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Billboard said it was "Wanna say" Thank you, kept thinking one day. I know what Billboard said, but I respectfully beg to differ. What I hear is a snip from the end of the first verse going into the chorus. He sings, "Don't hold back on yesterday. Wanna scream out...." The sample sounds like the same voice/notes as "(yester)day. Wa(nna)" It is at about :40 on the album cut. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.

Just what happened with "the production." Oh, skylar, I mean this literally...."Hang in there!"
