It's interesting to watch the old interviews, knowing what's happened in the two years since then.
Tonight I rewatched AFL's second appearance on Oprah (first one was on skype). He alludes to his revelation at Burning Man and subsequently affirming to the universe that he was ready for the next level. O was very engaged in that part of the conversation.
ETA - Her closing line was "You're just as delightful as I thought you'd be."

Just musing here, but since he is definitely doing a worldwide release and they already did different singles in different countries on the last album maybe they are planning different singles for various countries based on their market data. So maybe they are preparing multiple singles for this reason. Or they are putting all the finishing touches on the possible singles before making the final decision. This would be great IMO... Three singles released in various countries at the same time! That would mean with social media we would get three singles at the same time potential. How fantastic would that be. And for US radio we only have to worry about one... and I think the international ones would actually chart faster or higher in some of those areas than the US. And that would help spur the US to "get with it". |

Thanks MyS*&@^#r50, LindaG23, and stardust! : ) Just had a "what if" pang after hearing about the kid who died from a tree falling on his house. But, this house has, amazingly enough, been around for 40 years through many big storms. It is thick glass! They say the winds are no higher than 50 mph. Weather people always over hype. But storms are definitely waaay more exciting in this little hut. Would feel a little better right now if I had a cellar. I do have one reasonably safe room if it gets bad and I am well prepared for an outage. ; ). Skylar - want you to be safe - criss/cross windows with duct-tape - course you prob know that :/ Best wishes to you & yours! Let us know! Thanks kapsiz! *Hug* I promise to be careful. I'm pretty sure that Adam meant tracks when she tweeted three singles earlier. Here's to hoping the album is so good that they all are worth being considered as a potential single!  |
