Where are you sourcing your numbers? My understanding is that CD means physical and not digital. Because I faintly recall ED posting CD and digital as separate (trying to find it).

Retail store traffic is substantially lower in October vs. November and recorded music sales are substantially higher in November.
FYE was released in the US with a MSRP of $14.99, Deluxe MSRP was $17.99. Target, Walmart and Best Buy sold the album at a slight discount -- $13.88 on average. Amazon was at $9.99 (except for the digital special.)
MSRP for FYE was raised to $17.99. (14 track CD) in 2010 and it is still there.
Note: Amazon has FYE album CD for $6.99 right now.

I've usually seen the numbers given as total overall sales then digital sales sometimes given separately. I don't think I've ever seen the figures given as physical only. Although RIAA does have digital certifications the regular certifications include digital numbers.

Sorry I think you must have misunderstood, because that's just not the case. There is the overall total, and then sometimes we can get digital numbers broken out from that because there are digital charts. But they are not additive, the digital is part of that overall total.

My bad for not understanding the numbers then. So this means Adam has sold 724K physical and 100K digital then.

It was scripted. Go back and watch. Britney and Gaga are both playing their parts and saying their lines. Then they presented Beyonce together, just like they were scripted to do. Lagy Gaga has made some pretty genius mistakes to the tune of millions of dollars. She has 2 top 5 hits from this current album and things look just as good for this next single. Her appeal and record sales are even stronger in other countries. If she is making mistakes, she needs to keep making them! I know lots of personal information about Gaga's real life from watching and reading her interviews. There was one interview I watched recently where she talked all about the struggles in her youth, how she got started in music, her family, her aunt who died, her grandmother, how she felt when she lost her first recording contract... She has given many personal, in-depth interviews. Gaga may be a out there and a little different, but she doesn't hold back in interviews. Lady Gaga was 16 when she started to formally sing and play before live audiences. She also performed at many open mike nights starting at age 14, a couple of years after she started with pop vocal lessons and playing modern songs on the piano. (she began classical piano lessons at age 4 and was a bit of a prodigy) At 17, Gaga earned early admission into the Cap 21 program at NYU, which is an extremely difficult program to be admitted to. She dropped out her sophomore year to concentrate solely on her music career. I'm not sure how "hard she had it" or what difference it really makes, but she did work towards her dream for many years.

Yay! My daughter is ok! She lives in Virginia Beach, 3 blocks from the ocean. Her husband is a Marine and they evacuated all dependents in his unit to Williamsburg. I had visions of dark, dank hotel while my grandson was traumatized from the wind and rain, but they put them in a family friendly hotel with a theme park for the children, transported food in refrigerated trucks and didn’t run out of food. When they returned to their home, only very minor damage and had a sea turtle in their front yard which animal control came for promptly. Much to my grandson’s dismay because he has a stuffed sea turtle name Shelly and thought she had come to visit. grandduchesspf Yeyyyy!!! I'm glad everything is OK with your daughter!!! And Hoppers same for you!!!! :D

Thanks mia for the translation! Oh and I forgot something else. Boy George @boygeorge started following Adam again. Why or when did he stop? marie23 I don't remember all the details and I don't remember when he stopped. I only remember that when he stopped ,some cray Adam fans were bitchy to him because he stopped following him ,and he said something like he follows people when they talk on twitter and if they don't have something to say it's no use and things like that. Maybe someone remembers more details. Anyway the good thing is that he follows him now. Maybe this is good for the UK.
