I post little remarks on Sauli's blog, and I will tell you why. I have read little snide remarks with reference to Sauli. You know how some of these younger girls like to dig into people. I don't know if he has ever read them because he does not reveal that. But if he has, I want him to feel welcome in this country. I want him to feel that the people who love Adam love him also because he makes Adam happy. I could care if Adam ever sees anything I write. We have a foreigner in this country, and I want him to know that most Americans are decent, loving people. That is the only reason I would ever post anything on his blog. There are people out there who only write negative comments, and I presume he has come across some of it. I have, and I sure don't go looking for it. I am also sure people post on Sauli's blog for a lot of different reasons. You don't have to be a fan to express your opinion. You are right In the comments on his blog there is a lot of love but also not-so- nice things. But he's come across all that since 2007 so I bet it's no big deal. Or maybe not exactly all that, but negative things anyway. As he's a positive person he prob. likes to concentrate on positive things, since they give you energy / negativity drains the energy away. I've noticed there are some same nicks who always have something bad to say - some people just are like that for reasons real to themselves only.

Hi, Finnish peeps have made the meatballs with this recipe already without any problems and loved them. Maybe your sour cream is different to ours then...? The onion soup mix absorbs some of the liquid but if your sour cream is very liquidy you will probably need to add breadcrumbs, or have less sour cream. OK! I will try them then! BTW, so glad you ladies have met Sauli and have a RL frame of reference for him! Yay and yeah, that was very nice .

C:\Documents and Settings\\Finn style meatballs! 003.jpg I posted this in the thread yesterday ...when the grocery shopping pics came up and I posed the question....wondering if they bought extra lean hamburger and onion soup mix??? Well I did make them and they held together lightly but fine...but I did not use as much sour cream and I used no fat sour cream. I baked 6 balls as a test. Yummy...tested 3. Then I baked the rest with some bread crumbs added and an egg. Making about 35 or so. They did not seem to hold together much differently...and the zippiness of the taste was less.... I guess because of the addition of breadcrumbs. I cooked them on parchment paper with foil underneath in the bottom of my broiler pan...as there is a bit of juice/grease for sure, but so easy to just discard the paper and avoid a clean-up. I broiled the last batch for 3 min at the end ...and I think I would do that again. Then I sat them on a paper towel to get as much of the bottom as greasless as possible...as I am on the Trespassing 2012 shape-up program!!! I found them very light and easy to swallow...you didn't need any sauce ..although I did dab with mustard for dinner and hubby with ketchup!!! I will definitely make these again. Attachments:

Hi, glad to hear about your experiments . Actually I tested the recipe today too LOL, it's a bit different of what I usually make (I add breadcrumbs & egg). The meatballs came out being very "soft", held together fine and tasted very good. The onion soup mix here usually used for these meatballs is the French onion soup mix, btw. I got 20 "normal size" meatballs out of that 400 g hamburger meat and 20 mins in regular oven was just perfect time for them. I will make them again for sure . Now a question - what is our sour cream like..? Is it liquid or thicker?
