So sorry to hear about Party's leaving ATOP. On a happy note, I received my tickets from Ticket master for QAL! Odd that I could print my Saturday tickets but had to pay for Friday delivery. Looking forward to seeing some of you again. I got my mailed tickets today too! I thought I was getting a printable one for a second show...but it's mobile it appears. I think I'm gonna pay $7 and have that one mailed to me as well since we have plenty of time. I'm not quite techie enough to want to rely on a phone app.
I may have to do the same and pay another $7 to have TM mail me the Friday tickets. I managed to get the TM app loaded on my phone, and I can see the tickets in my "account", but I am not sure if this is the proof they need. It would be my luck to accidentally log out of the app and forget the TM password.
Having the physical tickets in hand makes the concerts feel so real !

I'm wondering what the difference is between hair and weight.
There have been a multitude of posts with people stating preferences for Adam with a beard, or with scruff, or without facial hair. Ditto hair shaved on the sides, hair dark, hair natural, hair floofy. Many times the posts state a preference, or mention they find their preference sexier. Yet I don't remember anyone being so offended and defensive about someone having a hair preference that is different than their own.
Why is it not okay to prefer a leaner or a fuller figure? To find one sexier than the other.
I wonder why is it okay to find a hairdo more or less sexy, but not a body shape?

My take - with all the discussion about weight and body acceptance and overly thin models and plus size this and that body size has become akin the the third rail of political discussion (which is a charged untouchable issue aka abortion or religion for those who've never heard the term). You could say weight is the third rail of appearance. In theory it is no different to any other physical attribute, however the charged and judgement based environment around it renders thoughtful dialog next to impossible.

Yes, I always prefer the physical tickets...or if I can't print at home. Either I overlooked the option and clicked on e tickets when I shouldn't have...I didn't see a print at home choice. I noticed they said they would load the barcode for the mobile ticket the day before the show.....no...that's too stressful. lol Also got one VIP will call and will print out that confirmation. Knock on wood, I've never had a problem at the venue with those.

Good question and good points both of you. Weight and body acceptance is one of those issues that is very personal and many people deal with. When even one word is spoken, it is almost impossible not to read into that single word the complete dialog and experience that the listener has struggled with through time ... even if that is not what is being said. Consequently, it is hard to respond in any meaningful way or even understand where the comment is coming from unless you know the person well. Also nightowl, I really appreciated your thoughts. Thank you.

I'm not involved with Twitter, but sometimes I read here that people on Twitter are being negative and causing a commotion in the fandom. I wonder how does one know for sure that those are real fans and not just trolls who enjoy stirring things up? Is there some way to tell the difference? Do really negative people get blocked sometimes?
