I just thought of another beautiful song that made me think of A & S. Roberta Flack and "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." One of my favorites from the early 70's. My husband sang that song to me on our anniversary one time when he was performing and I was in the audience. Made me cry  |

Ohh, guys, these last 2 threads are just made of WIN! Enjoyed them sooo much - there's new old (teehee :  music to check out, new topics in Adam Lambert History 101 to cover, and gorgeous pics to stare at. I love this place!!  Susie, hugging your posts 2day, especially the 1st one  miachichu and Zinnia - Sauli Central rocks! I just thought maybe we could add additional info about him, because as much as an over-invested fan of Adam I am, sometimes I forget things about his bf. Even Sauli's age. katycake !  I´m sure I´m not the only one here who would like to hear your Adam story. How did you discover Adam and how did you find your way to Atop? Feel free to share if it isn´t too uncomfortable for you to reveal you secrets! Thanks, tillis. I'll be glad to share my "Adam story", I'm just afraid I'll bore everyone to death, and/or make them want to shoot themselves trying to decipher my English... Well, here goes: I saw Adam in AI and liked him A LOT, even told my friends to watch AI to see him (obviously none of them did). But it never occured to me that there's life after AI. For me, as the show was over, it was over. Until a friend from work, who's very updated on everything Hollywood, told about the AMA's, and I got so excited, and said "oh good! That will freak out all them prude Americans!" It was about 2 weeks after it happened, and I looked up the AMA's (and liked what I saw , and started looking up other things Adam, and listened to his music (which was already out by then), and haven't stopped since. I thought he was the sexiest guy ever (I still do). I can't say at what point I realized it became an obssesion, but I've been addicted now for at least 1.5 years So pretty much the same sad heart-breaking story as everyone else's... Thanks for sharing your story neighbour! And why cry? This is the best addiction EVAH! And it's better at Atop where we can share our addiction! |
