Kelly's been around for 9 years. She didn't get immediate adds two years into her career. It takes time to build up that kind of cache on radio, especially for an idol alum on pop radio. Here's hoping in 7 years he is ;D out of curiosity - how long was Katy Perry around? Is AI such a terrible-almost impossible-to-overcome-unless-around-for- nine-years impediment?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAMAFAN!!I'm in awe of your Adam "collection" Wow! WELCOME KATYCAKE!! Lovely to watch Adamtopia become more and more International. amw...and all our Texans - thinking about you and doing my damndest to conjure up some moisture! Happy to hear that Adam and Saui were indeed at Burning Man. :D Copying from Darberville - sharing all her sentiments. Had to crack up when I saw all the "rain" on the thread. It is not only raining here in So Cal - there is thunder and lightning. Unthinkable - unheard of. LOL I think we are a VERY powerful group - even if our aim is a little off from time to time.

I think Adam has proven himself very well already and that he has a world wide audience. Everyday I hear music on the radio from very new artists. I think its all about promotion! At least I hope so!

I didn't see this answered yet... The Hub is a kid's cable station. It used to be "Discover Kids Network" and has been rebranded as The Hub. It seems to still be part of Discovery but it also has links to Hasbro (so LOTS of ads for toys!) They seem to be making a push to compete with Disney, Nick and Cartoon Network. So far, there has been a lot of cartoon content, but they seem to be coming out with more and more original programing. My son shouted at me yesterday "Adam is on my TV" - it was an ad for Majors & Minors which they seem to be really pushing. I'm not sure how big their audience is yet -but I know my son has it in the group of stations he flips through (he is 12). It is firmly aimed at the tween and young teen market which is probably a great place to get new Adam fans.
