Dumb blond question. Do I get to pick 3 songs from every page, or 3 songs total?

Thanks for the info on the producer's role. I like the analogy of the movie director. From what we know of Adam, I'll bet he learned a lot from the first go-round. From the BTS stuff we saw, that was the production process, right? Seems like he was pretty involved in the process for the FYE album, at least on some songs. I wonder how much Adam was involved in production during Idol when they recorded the studio tracks. I'm guessing they have that down so they can produce super-fast without much if any artist input, since so often they're working with inexperienced people. Adam wouldn't have had much production knowledge going into AI, I guess, other than the few songs they recorded and self-produced for the CV tracks. Anyway, I imagine Adam will be much more hands-on this time, and would probably be attracted to producers who are into collaboration rather than telling him what to do

Adam mention in this article about Burning Man www.huffingtonpost.com/oscar-raymundo/party-drugs-perfect-dates_b_946998.html?ref=twquote: "Before Milk, Dustin Lance Bass's first film, On the Bus, was about his trip to Burning Man, and Adam Lambert got a revelation to audition for American Idol while on his own personal trip of self-discovery and ginger rejection. ........... "Every single big idea that I have had is somehow related to the mind-space that I create while I'm on the playa." Nick said. "Being away from all the daily crap, all that minutiae, does a really powerful thing. It's like you are cleansed of all the bullshit and can just focus on yourself. Sure, there's plenty of hedonism, but there's an equal helping of self-discovery and intelligent exploration." "There's so much talk of manifesting on the playa," Kevin added. "50 thousand people brimming with positive energy in one place has a funny way of making the things you seek appear before you." For Dustin Lance Black, it was a feature film. For Adam Lambert, a spot on American Idol. And for Kevin? A man in a red bandana and a loincloth. "

Thanks NoAngel. MWP and I now have a great feeling of accomplishment. I sure wish I could send our weather to Texas. It hasn't stopped raining in three days and is expected for the rest of the week. Everyone in the northeast go outside and huff and puff toward the south.
OT, but how do you copy a picture from somewhere and post it here? After all the time I spend here, I guess that's a reeeaaaaaaallly dumb blond question.

I'm sort of wondering if we are all really on the same page and voting for the same thing when we say "Greatest Song". I think of that as being the song itself - is the song intrinsically great and would be at least enjoyable sung by nearly anyone who doesn't out and out butcher it? However, I get the impression that I'm interpreting this different and maybe most people are looking at it as a Song + Artist particular performance type of thing.
I've been thinking along the lines of "would this song still be great sung by someone else?" "how about if it were sung in totally different styles?" and so on. I just finished voting, but I think maybe my votes aren't in line with the poll. At first I was thinking that listing the performer was just to help people know which song it was (particularly where there is more than 1 with the same name) but the further I got in the list, the less that seemed to be the purpose. Summertime was listed as "Ella Fitzgerald" which is the youtube I posted, but if the point was to clarify which song it was, then "Porgy & Bess" or "Gershwin" would make more sense since a ton of people have covered this song. But if the point is to vote on this particular version/performance for greatest song, then it makes sense.
Anyway, I think I messed up the voting since I was thinking about this totally differently!

Just a minute...eta: done.
