So - MTV Talk Playground is not airing in the US? Did we know that before today? Did MTV post that info? Bait & switch/ Yes, we already knew this info -- and there is a list of countries where it will be broadcast posted on page 1 about 6 weeks ago. I am traveling so can't easily get to it. BUT MTV tweeting that if would be available in the US online. |

 @cdnshannon tweeted that the Aftermath(Billboard Remix) single is featured in "What's Hot" on Canadian iTunes. I don't know how long it's been there but if you go to the Pop page it's under "What's Hot" (scroll to the right) |

Adam at Burning Man. Watching, celebrating the Burn. Controlled fire semi out of control in a desert where there are no trees to burn. Bastrop County is devastated. The loss is staggering. My community's beloved retreat center is gone. The whole street is gone. Every house burned. The air in my city is smoky and everyone is sneezing or coughing or is complaining of headaches. All that remains of Pine Crone for sure are the structures made of stone - the huge fire pit, the amazing labrynth, lovingly laid out and built by my recently deceased friend. (the owner of the center passed in June after battling cancer for 2 years) I may not post for a while, good people. My sadness is great, but keep the prayers of the rain coming for my dry, dry state. Quoting myself to add this: Whether or not you choose to listen to the program for 2 hours (which includes comments by Juneau and Xena as well, sometimes interrupting what Angelina is saying), DO read the script that Angelina wrote (not a literal transcript like I first thought). While reading it you do not hear the sweet lilt of Angelina's voice or her enthusiastic fangirling, but you have time to think about what she is saying, process it, and then listen to the samples of what she is talking about. Wonderful article to feed us with substance while we wait out the doldrums. |

OT After all of this time I didn't know how good of a show Tru Blood was. Continued to see clips and hear people exclaim about it, and for the life of me couldn't see the appeal, especially after someone described it as an adult version of Twilight. But just decided to see it one day, and I'm a little hooked haha. Have you gotten to the current witch arc yet?  |
