Hello, people!!!! Adam is auditioning for a movie!!! Why are we not Squeeeeing about this?????????????  LOL mys*&@^#r50 i really love your enthusiasm but this tweet doesnt tell me that Adam is auditioning for a movie.It tells me that Simon Curtis believes that Adam would be perfect for this role.  Sure it does! Simon wouldn't tweet that unless he knows Adam is up for the role. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!) |

You know, not that Adam cares what I think, but I'd rather he not do a movie/broadway thing.
I still so hope for a True Blood appearance, or even glee (in certain context). Kinda hope it is just Simon saying he thinks Adam would be outstanding. Which he would be.

Thanks Cookie for the Billboard link. Interesting....sounds like Cruise is already getting into the roll....said he's playing an aging rocker. Since the auditions are today, maybe we'll find out the castings soon...hopefully leaks from Simon or others.
Gelly...you're right, we may be getting ahead of ourselves...Simon and Adam are friends, so who knows, but it's fun to speculate.

The one two punch of Tom Cruise who has become a bit of a joke, and the fact that this movie will always be linked with the original Broadway production and therefore the dreaded Constantine, make me hope he stays 100 miles away from it. Granted, it's a movie, but it's a movie adaptation of Broadway show. Given how Adam said flat out he's not interested in Broadway right now, I doubt he'd turn around and audition for a Broadway adaptation movie. |

Actually, as much as I am creeped out by Tom Cruise...he might be perfect for the lead role of a campy aging rocker. I dunno if it's a singing part, but I think he could handle it if not much singing is involved. Singing tho, erm, no clue. Anyone see when he played that one character....oh God it escapes me now...but he came out at the VMA's or something in that character and he was actually really funny/good in that roll. If its anything in that vein he could be really good.
I also don't think Adam has time on his plate for a movie, lol. I would think being srs on #2 would be waaay more important. A cameo would be lulzy tho.
