Dragging this to here from yesterday: From my own experience I can tell that being all alone in a different world for a year at that age is really something huge. I learned so much about myself, got to know my inner self. It was more than a school year abroad, it was a course of life to come with difficulties, problems, fun, happiness a touch of real life where you will have to sort out everything by yourself and have to trust yourself and your own instincts. I came home a lot more mature, stronger and confident of my own abilities and a lot clearer view about life in general. And that was only a high school year in the States :D, so nothing to really compare to Adam's experiences! (Time zone: ancient, before internet and mobile phones.) I felt the same from spending a year in another country at 20. there's a certain freedom you feel when cut off from all societal norms you grew up with. I remember how the world and it's possibilities seemed to grow and it felt magical. We actually had to write LETTERS  to keep in touch with friends and family, except for a once a month 2 minute shouting match via bad phone connection. Traveling always made me feel bold and it was a struggle to hold on to that when back at home. I wonder why. I think of Adam coming home after doing Hair in Germany having reinvented himself and instead of reverting to old habits he went on being the new fabulous Adam and kept being bold. Like after his trip at Burning Man, where most people have all these crazy revelations while tripping but never actually try to follow through after the fact. The boy has heart and an almost childlike purity in his convictions that I have so much respect for. I was 20 whenI spent 18 months, pretty much alone in Japan ,while my husband was on the flag ship in Asia, and barely ever home. I lived in a Japanese house near the beach facing views of My Fujii. I learned so much about myself and how to survive without family and my friends, I also learned how to raise my new Japanese born son.. I grew up real fast in a culture vastly different than the one here at home... I'm sure Adam's transformation came from being outside his usual safety net of parents and old friends. He was free to experiment .learn and try things out .Lucky for US,he did it perfectly. |

IDK. Do they really need to do this???He said he is dating one guy.He is seen with him holding his arm, on vacation.... He said if he had a relationship he would not talk about it, trying not to exploid it.And i totally believe he is right. I dont see the point.I do not need to know anything.I just want to see him happy. I guess these people got to do what they got to do....but i bet Adam wont talk about it. |

I hate to rain on the parade, but the @michaelpascani twitter account was only started January 24th and he only has 12 followers.
And a choreographer advertising for dancers on Craigslist? Really?
IDK but I'm treating it with extreme skepticism unless we get some kind of confirmation.
