I so agree with be careful what you wish for. IMHO. I often have to take a bit of a break from my favorite place because some fans seem to want more and more from Adam. He works at a break neck speed and like all humans needs some time off And probably would like some private space. Just saying YES!! Like I said I am a Linkin Park fan and I always used to wish they would put out albums faster or tour more and now they will never do either as the band they were ever again. There may be a new version but it will never be the same. Chester Bennington had an amazing voice and I was very lucky to see him sing live many times before he died. So for me it is not just be careful what you wish for but be very grateful for what we have in such an amazing talent like Adam as you never know what tomorrow holds. I never dreamed that I would mourn the loss of my all time favorite rock band due to the tragedy of a band members death. So in my humble opinion I am just thankful to be able to share Adams gift with him and his amazing fans. Sorry to bring the topic down we got bad news today and I am feeling melancholy. Who remembers when the Client magazine comes out I could use some more amazing photos and a new interview with Adam to cheer me up!!

There will be an update of Brian's Queen 3D book released next month and it is on pre-order at Amazon for $29. Were there any Adam photos in the first book? Yes, there's a few and they are quite pretty. Thank you! I was planning on getting this the second night but had to pass after my accident. Had to ice my leg. Not sure what has been updated but I am anxious to see.

Craazyforadam Over the years, I've also made some "be careful what you wish for" posts. I would love to see Adam on my television more, but I also like to see him live a successful, relatively normal life! I like the fact that he can attend concerts, take his dog hiking, etc. without being hounded by over-zealous fans and intrusive paparazzi. I am waiting oh so patiently for new music -- and I realize it is not easy to navigate in this new music scene. I just have my fingers really, really crossed! lol

For whatever it is worth, Brendon and Panic At The Disco have had BoRhap in their setlist since at least 2014, in the neighborhood of 300 shows later I think they will manage just fine. www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/panic-at-discos-bohemian-rhapsody-733753“Queen's Brian May must have liked their performance — he posted the clip on his Facebook page. Who can blame him? The video features a shirtless Brendon Urie belting out Freddie Mercury's lyrics as an added delicious bonus. It's definitely better than the car sing-along in Wayne's World.” m.youtube.com/watch?v=kT1t4jVmv7EI'm sorry but this doesn't come close to Adam in my opinion. The transitions are weak and thin. The band sounds great though! JMHO! Brendon has a very nice, service-able voice. But he doesn't go for those big, full glory notes. He falls back on falsetto. It sounds ok but it's nothing like Adam, who so effortlessly hits those lovely, full, rich higher notes with total control, total perfect pitch. There really is no comparison between the two of them, and I can't imagine that anyone would do so. Brendon sings this song like most people probably would: perfectly acceptably. But Adam has just what Brian and Roger were looking for: MAGIC.

IF Brian and Roger thought their was anyone out their that comes close to Freddie and Adam. They would doing tours with them. But Marc, Bellamy, and Urie are all servicable. But as Adam said, has that magic. His Falsetto, and transition between head voice. And Glory Notes. Set hims apart. In any respect, Adam is not available. And unless they were promoting BH. Don't see why B and R would be their either.

So there's a movie coming out, about this iconic kind of guy, but he really didn't make an impression on anyone because only the original band, and it's current reincarnation, plays his music, maybe he's not as iconic as the movie makes him out to be.
or
So there's a movie coming out, about this iconic kind of guy, and he made such an impression that everyone is still playing his music decades after he died, even on sold out tours that take bands around the world. And it's such a big deal, this shared music, that this very successful other band is willing to take on this huge award show and not even play one of their own songs. That iconic guy and the band that started all this must be very special.

As I have always understood it, tribute concerts/performances are to honor a band or performer. They are not a performance by the band or person. The person/band being honored may be present, may get an award or medal or ribbon, or they may not even attend. Tributes are by others for the one being honored. I would not expect Queen or QAL to perform.
As to Adam and Queen being better able to render an awe inspiring performance, that goes without saying. No one today can do Queen as well as Brian and Roger and Spike. And they have decided, correctly in my opinion, that no one today can sing their repertoire and be the showman as well as Adam can. Others performing Queen's songs can still be effective and still serve to honor them.
