Hey Adele released in January and look at where she is at now. Too much competition in November. Everybody wants the Black Friday and holiday buying. Everybody wants it for a very good reason. I know, I know, just wanting to think positively and not angst.

Well here I am...home from work feeling like shit and then I see this crap. 2012? Srsly? You mean if he puts it out in January we will only have 11 MONTHS TO ENJOY IT BEFORE THE WORLD ENDS!!?!?!?! Oh and that it might not sell for shit because of it being a dead period. I swear...if they are gonna pull a Cook with this album I dunno man....stanning will be dead to me. It's too much for my delicate constitution! LOL. I really hope he has some fantastic music on the album that catches on right away to combat that shitty shitty time release period....trying to not be a negative nelly and see the positive but I am too sick to try...blargh. May I crawl into bed with you (in a purely platonic way) and pull the covers over my head? Sort of had a bit of insomnia last night! \ Sure if you don't mind getting a sore throat, cough and overall craptasticness.

Well, one bright spot - and I had to dig deep to find one - maybe if everything is done, he can go to Finland with Sauli for Christmas when everything on TV is repeats. One last relaxation before (Pleaes, please, please) the album drops. Any little ray of sunshine to fend off the blues.

I want to be positive about Adam's album coming out in 2012 but I'm deflated. I have listened to all of his Youtube music and of course his album endlessly. I feel starved for new music and I wonder if people will forget him. Will he have to start all over again,to become known, etc.I wish they would go the Katy Perry way and keep putting out new singles ,rather than wait for an album. Timing is everything and I just don't get this timing.Where is the momentum??Sorry for being a downer, but I really am disappointed. This seems highly unlikely. The public's attention span isn't that short. Most artists go 2 years between albums. Early 2012 will be a little over 2 years. He's still getting radio play with his songs from the first era and like I pointed out before, he's still in the media. I think everyone should just breathe and take a step back. None of us work in the music industry and even those who 'have connections' can't possibly know the intimate details of label decisions. Perhaps the promo set up by 19 wasn't good enough for his new management? Perhaps his new management was able to negotiate more creative control for him than he previously had and he was able to imput more of his own vision into this project? Adam is a very smart man. All this angst and worry makes it seem like some doubt his ability to make sound decisions for his own career. He knows what he's doing. TRUST HIM! Trust the people he has surrounded himself with to know what they are doing. It's their job to know...it's our job as fans to be ready when the music is released, whenever that is.

My 2 million Twitter followers guess was based on a summer release. I want a do-over! Otherwise, I will be happy if a single or two (or seven) come soon with videos, TV appearances, magazine covers, etc. I am NOT greedy, really I am not! I agree that Adam's balance in life is very important. I want him to be able to create music, videos, live performances and interviews for YEARS to come. (OK, I may be a little greedy). Get well soon, Glamnana!

Hello everyone, Busting out of lurking to deal with "2012" I work on Wall Street and know nothing about this business except what I have learned here, but it seems to me that what we need most is a single and that seems to still be on the "in about 8 weeks" time range. Once we have the single we will see Adam everywhere....debut, talk shows, radio interviews etc.,. We will have an album title and presumably a pre order on Amazon and other places. More importantly tHe rest of the world will see him too....and hear him. If there is one thing that has been made crystal clear to us all t is that the first single is critical and this will give Adam and the team the time and focus on the first track that it needs. It's not as if he will sing anything else than the one song on TV for months anyway, even if he had 10 albums out that would be the plan. As for sales, I think for Adam the first week being in the high sales black Friday time frame is just a bit less important as he has us to give a boost to week one. And he will have a chance to chart higher than he would in November. Add to that, the fact that this album will have to last us, and him, for a long time. This timing means he could have had two smash singles and a still high charting album on people's minds just as he starts to tour for the summer... So, bring on the single, and let the games begin! Okay, that little bit of attitude adjustment worked. Now I can face the day with a little more enthusiasm.

LMAO This whole post is just full of win.I think it'll be faster to invent a time machine and travel to the future to hear the album. But I think it will be worth the wait.
