So now what? It's gonna come out in Jan or Feb which is music's no-mans-land? I am more upset than I can believe. I gotta step back and lie to myself and tell myself that it doesn't matter. But it does. David Cook scenerio all over again. Cook's fans kept coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses too, and look what happened. Maybe they told him - this is the way it's gonna be - and now he has to put a good face on it. :-/

Maybe the November time frame was gonna be OK for an RCA/19 rollout...count heavily on black Friday....but not good enough for his new management. Remember no one liked the way the last roll out was handled. Adam is a visual delight, so let's get him out there. Print & video. Time enough to have a video made....lots of interviews. Adele & Kesha were released early in the year (both Platinum btw). Neither Adele or Kesha were Adele or Kesha until after these albums were released. Looking forward to 2 singles....I can wait. But then again I am not one that needs to read the end of the book, so easy for me to say! Some of these posts are better than Adam rehab. I’m almost back to being perky and I have’t kicked the cat in 20 minutes.

I would like to focus on the green at the party. Possibly apple martini's. Bet those guys were getting high- brother, dad, dad's gf, mom and Sauli - what a wonderful party. Ha, ha! No, most think the green was a little MJ!

I want to be positive about Adam's album coming out in 2012 but I'm deflated. I have listened to all of his Youtube music and of course his album endlessly. I feel starved for new music and I wonder if people will forget him. Will he have to start all over again,to become known, etc.I wish they would go the Katy Perry way and keep putting out new singles ,rather than wait for an album. Timing is everything and I just don't get this timing.Where is the momentum??Sorry for being a downer, but I really am disappointed. This seems highly unlikely. The public's attention span isn't that short. Most artists go 2 years between albums. Early 2012 will be a little over 2 years. He's still getting radio play with his songs from the first era and like I pointed out before, he's still in the media. I think everyone should just breathe and take a step back. None of us work in the music industry and even those who 'have connections' can't possibly know the intimate details of label decisions. Perhaps the promo set up by 19 wasn't good enough for his new management? Perhaps his new management was able to negotiate more creative control for him than he previously had and he was able to imput more of his own vision into this project? Adam is a very smart man. All this angst and worry makes it seem like some doubt his ability to make sound decisions for his own career. He knows what he's doing. TRUST HIM! Trust the people he has surrounded himself with to know what they are doing. It's their job to know...it's our job as fans to be ready when the music is released, whenever that is. I trust Adam! He has learned alot over the past 2 years on how this music business works and what works for him.
