Ok, I'm going with this point of view: if I had to choose between having an album in 2011 or Adam experiencing love, happiness and balance in his RL so he can continue performing and creating in the long run...I choose door #2. Adam is not David Cook, Adam is Adam. Remember our Elvis discussion a few days/weeks ago? Amy Winehouse? You know us, once we get the single, we'll want the video. Then the album, then, when can I buy tickets for the tour? We are insatiable. Adam is one man, practically perfect in every way. He's got another special date to celebrate (and savor) in November with Sauli, remember? Yay!!! I guess someone has to be grown up about this whole thing so it might as well be you. I have to admit disappointed by delay, but as with everything else, we will survive. And, the Sauli reference did bring a smile to my face. Maybe they can go to Finland to meet the family for celebration or take time to go at Christmas. The above is me trying to remain positive.

Still at beginning of the thread, but am reminded of this: Crying is cathartic. So that's good! But ITA with Gelly, Izzyiegs, Paperheart, and really have nothing to add to their positive takes on the situation except this... Maybe Adam prefers to take things a little more slowly/differently this time around? Maybe the fact that he's found someone he could build a serious lifelong commitment with takes precedence? He seems to be living a very balanced, happy life right now. Maybe spending the holidays this year with his family and friends and "love"--i.e., his RL--especially since he's turning 30--while making sure his sophomore effort is absolutely the best he can make it--maybe the combo of those two things seems best to him. If I were Adam, I would not want to be doing promo for more than a single at this point either. I want new Adam music as much as anyone, but OOL is fresh and I think we will see him enough with single promo, TV gigs, etc. to carry us through. Honestly, I think we find enough fun things to do around here to get us by until "sometime in 2012." The massive crying jag that DK goes through in that movie/youtube is good for her--but then she goes on about her life happily! (And, the BEST things happen for her!) ;D The news about Glamnana(thank you Holst for passing along), however, is seriously sad. So very, very sorry you're having to deal with this, Glamnana. Love and Light and Peace to you. ETA: ljsmacks, I see right above my post that you feel the same thing I do!

I don't think it's going to be like David Cook, but missing the best quarter, for selling new music makes no sense to me. Not to sound harsh but it doesn't need to make sense to you because you don't work for Adam or his label. He has a team of professionals who are paid to know how to do this stuff. As fans we sit back and wait. If he misses the best quarter for selling music, he misses it. That won't impact the quality of music, in fact it might improve it because he's not rushing out just anything. He cares about what he's giving us and isn't willing to just push out material for the sake of getting more sales. They could've been listening to try to decide which songs are good enough for the final track listing. His family is obviously brutally honest with him, unlike fans who would tell him they loved everything. So of course he'd want to get his family and friends imput before picking the final track listing IMO. You want to trust him but you don't. based on what? Adam has made brilliant decisions so far. He capitalizes on every opportunity afforded to him and I don't see that changing. As fans we want what we want and we want it NOW. We don't think about market projections or industry politics or any of the other million plus factors that go into launching a world wide release of an album. And Adam, unlike Cook, will be releasing world wide and that takes a lot more man power and a helleva lot more planning. Yes, none of whom are remotely similar to Adam so it won't matter. reality show contestant doesn't automatically mean direct competition. So you don't want Adam competing with the big guns? why not? If he can prove himself by holding his own against them that's a good thing. Always taking the easy route doesn't challenge anyone and it looks weak IMO. Don't look at the negatives.... look at all of the possibilities this opens up for Adam, his management and the label to properly promote this album.

For lords sake he is not DC...geez this is nothing like that. Geez.... Thought I was on the wrong board. I happened to notice you posted using the ProBoard App. I dowloaded it and found the site. Love it! Any helpful hints? Seems the pages dont coincide with the web pages and is there a way to keep me logged in?

Q3..What do you think of Adam's album coming out in 2012?I wish we had some hard facts on the timing logic. I'm beginning to see why the conflicts between management and other singers...Clarkson comes to mind.Who is responsible for when album comes out? RCA or Adam's new management company??

Ha, ha! No, most think the green was a little MJ! Okay, I'm slow this am - what is MJ? Is it smoked? Okay, the “what is MJ” got my first laugh of the day, so I am grateful.

Morning/ Afternoon all. Just popped in to give my views on news of Adam's 2012 album and new singe/singles coming soon. lizziegs I love your enthusiasm and agree with everything you said. In addition because I see things both on a spiritual and psychological level. This timing as perfect! He is having an Inner year and now he is getting ready for an outer year which begins end of this year going into next year. As they say the stars are aligning for the release of the single which should get him on the radar. I feel that his new album is going to surprise us all. Adam should not be compared to others. He stands alone! So folks be patient and keep sending out positive thoughts and energy so that the single/singles will be successful. Nothing in life should be rushed. Adam spirit is very positive the blessings will come back to him. Thanks. Am off to lucking till new single. Regards Babie x Hi Babie great to know you are here! Love your POV trying to compile a list of positives for the early 2012 release: 1) less competing albums released (is this true?) 2) longer time to get into everyone's ears/brains to be nominated for all kinds of awards 3) getting appearances on the shows end of 2011 - with the single and then in 2012 - with the 2nd and 3rd single 4) longer time for promo appearances = we see him more 5)new management has more time to "manage" and get all the details ironed out please add - I have to run... 6) It's summer in the Southern Hemisphere ... great international promotional opportunities ... Carnival in Rio in FEB ... Sydney Mardis Gras in MARCH

Ok so we could only hope for Adam #2 to be as successful as Adele 21, and her album was released on Jan 19 this year. So if the album is good enough, it won't matter when it is released, because it will sell regardless! Kanadie I love you and your optimism! ;D
