So now what? It's gonna come out in Jan or Feb which is music's no-mans-land? I am more upset than I can believe. I gotta step back and lie to myself and tell myself that it doesn't matter. But it does.  David Cook scenerio all over again. Cook's fans kept coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses too, and look what happened.  I don't think it's going to be like David Cook, but missing the best quarter, for selling new music makes no sense to me. Especially if it seems like the tracks are chosen and he was basically listening to it with his family. I want to trust Adam, but no matter how I run this through my brain, if the album is almost finished, waiting until 2012 ( probably Spring) makes no sense. IMO, it is too long for Adam to wait. And I know he is most likely out of the reality contestant bubble, but 2012 has a whole bunch of new reality contestants albums coming out, X-Factor, The Voice, Idol. It may even be when people like Bruno and KE$HA are releasing. I was thrilled with Nov. 2011 because he was going to be out of their cycle! I need to go away, because I am being a downer. I honestly see nothing good about waiting. |

Well it certainly did not take long for my doom and gloom from yesterday to be confirmed. It is what it is but I can't believe for even a half second that this is what Adam wants. I'm placing the blame completely on the other guy. I soooooo hoped that they were going to treat Adam differently. Why anyone would want to loosen their grip on a fanbase I will never know - can't ever be a good thing Twist it as you might, he is missing the best time of year to release, it has been discussed here a bazillion times. |

Morning/ Afternoon all. Just popped in to give my views on news of Adam's 2012 album and new singe/singles coming soon. lizziegs I love your enthusiasm and agree with everything you said. In addition because I see things both on a spiritual and psychological level. This timing as perfect! He is having an Inner year and now he is getting ready for an outer year which begins end of this year going into next year. As they say the stars are aligning for the release of the single which should get him on the radar. I feel that his new album is going to surprise us all. Adam should not be compared to others. He stands alone! So folks be patient and keep sending out positive thoughts and energy so that the single/singles will be successful. Nothing in life should be rushed. Adam spirit is very positive the blessings will come back to him. Thanks. Am off to lucking till new single. Regards Babie x |

Love your POV  trying to compile a list of positives for the early 2012 release: 1) less competing albums released (is this true?) 2) longer time to get into everyone's ears/brains to be nominated for all kinds of awards 3) getting appearances on the shows end of 2011 - with the single and then in 2012 - with the 2nd and 3rd single 4) longer time for promo appearances = we see him more 5)new management has more time to "manage" and get all the details ironed out please add - I have to run... |

Ok so we could only hope for Adam #2 to be as successful as Adele 21, and her album was released on Jan 19 this year. So if the album is good enough, it won't matter when it is released, because it will sell regardless! |
