Look, I'm not telling anyone that what they feel is wrong, but all if this is just speculation. You can make yourself crazy dwelling on the negative. A great mentor once told me " stay out of your head, it's a bad neighborhood. " I think what she meant was once you start trying to guess the outcome of your greatest fears you only give them more power. I choose to speculate this is all positive for Adam. I know that's not always easy but it' slot less stressful. Besides, I think it's true. JMHO.

Damn, I was just gonna take a few bites of my decadent Belgian chocolate gelato. I finished the whole pint reading thru this thread.
Amy made me a little angsty, but now I am somewhat relieved. But I have a feeling there is some head butting going on.

Yes, and the posts stay and every post previously made will now say guest.  Keep pumping those questions to Amy, she likes to talk!  No. I think that she left cause she thought the angst was too much drama, which she said that she doesn't need at this time, not so much as quitting cause of feeling that people don't agree with her :-/ People just seems to be too quick to put people down. I'll miss PH. She had some great posts, and interesting insights. Always sad to see board members go :( |

Oh, an not totally OT as poor David Cook was dragged into this today, lol...but my former neighbor in KC emailed me the opening of Chiefs season yesterday (her son is a KC firefighter and is the one with hi hat off between the two Bills players at 1:00). Anyway, Cook (a KC native--and I like him) sang the SSB. The song NEVER fails to give me goosebumps, and I think he did a great job. Not Adam-great, but Cook-great, for sure! And the sea of red at Arrowhead is the first thing (besides my son, or course) that has made me miss KC one bit. ETA: WELCOME, FIONAMAMA! |

I took a very quick look into Adam's Tweeter feed - it looks quite positive/encouraging at the moment... was there a freak-out earlier? I hope not! As a note- the Russian language tweets are plenty and those I saw are encouraging :D I was reading his feed last night and some this morning, and the tweets he got were overwhelmingly encouraging and positive (it was kinda funny as it was a marked difference than the variety of responses among fans just talking to each other). Right after his jojo tweet before that there was quite a lot of "Adam give us some info plz we're dying!!" tweets, which he might have seen and responded to. Who knows but I've not seen evidence that he lurks or reads outside his own twitter feed (that includes fan forums/communities). I've often thought that what drives this intense online fandom is new Adam content. This can be anything-media, music, pics, tweets, etc., and doesn't need to come from Adam himself (thanks Sauli!). Assuming that new promo for the single starts up in a couple weeks (and until that's happening and we can see how it starts rolling out, I really don't know how to make even a guess myself about album promo/sales/strategy/reasoning), we should get some more new content. If at any point new content is really light for awhile (as it has been at times), or invested fans like us need to refocus on their own lives, I remind myself that the goal of promo is to remind us of important events as well as the casual/new fans. For me next spring is a perfect storm of RL work obligations, but I know I'm on the email lists for AO, ALF, and Sony/RCA and myplay direct. Even if I need to step entirely away from twitter or fansites, there is little chance of me missing major promo appearances or album/single drops. I love lynneville's cups picture! |
