I just finished stacking a cord of wood. I decided to hoist all the stages of grieving into firewood and boy, did I smack that pile together. The trouble is, I am still troubled. I try to walk the 'lite' side, but today I am angry. I am not angry with Adam or RCA or anyone in particular about this release, I am just angry. I know all things are subject to change in the music world, but I have been hearing such mixed messages for so long about the single, about the album, about it being worth the wait..yada, yada. I wouldn't have stuck around all this time if I didn't know this album will be worth it. I would like to have seen a PR person run this thing. Adam is working his butt off I know, he is living a personal life in love with another seemingly wonderful man, and creating a vision. RCA would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to know how excited fans are. Excited fans=$$$$ Keep it under wraps to a point, but keep some kind of sane communication line open. If a change has been made, well, tell me, I am a big girl. I can take it. I throw up on rollercoasters and innuendo, tho. This whole release has been so hush hush, that when we get a tibdit, there is a groundswell of celebration and optomism, only to be clunked with a communication of..well, now it's gonna be____, possibly. Couldn't a PR pro write..we at RCA are hopeful for a fall 2011 release of Adam Lambert's first single? Then focus on that. By the time the album release is confirmed for 2012, it is not such a schizoid experience. It doesn't have to be this way. IMO. To me, this lack of clarity of communication creates the speculation that runs rampant. We all wonder what is going on. A little specific info...due to management change, Adam.... or due to shitty music...whatever. Just be clear. Change is constant. Communication can be more precise even when things change. We all live our lives in constant change. That is all I ask..tell me like it is when you can. Don't waltz around or build my hopes. If you tell me a single is coming on Tuesday and it won't be done til Friday, fine. Let me know and all is good. I've hung out with this with everyone else, but not going to ride the ride for another 'probably' six months. Sorry. Love it here. Whether I lurk or post, I am here for the sense of community you all have given me. I'll be happy when the single arrives. I hope it is spectacular and eats up the charts. But I'm not waiting for it anymore. If I am not around much, it is not personal. I love you all here. I love Adam and his vision. Today broke the camel's back. I really tried today to keep my energy high, but I am busted. I hope to visit now and then as I love the laughter and the intelligence of the members of Atop. Brilliant glowing souls here. Thanks for all you have given me. Hope I have given back. I'll miss you vivlite feel free to pop back in anytime. I'm exhausted at the waiting as well but I feel like I can still go on so I'll stan for the both of us. 8-)

OK, I will. 5 years??? I'll be collecting social security by then..lol..

I hear you Vivlite. This feels like labour when that damn doctor stands in frount of your distended, spasing belly that has been contracting for 36 hours and smilingly tells you: "Just one more push...that will do it...one more.....good girl....one more.....just one more..." And they wonder why you tell them to all fuck off!!! Just tell us the truth.....really....gahhhhhhh sorry Now why couldn't I have said it like that. Damn, you're good, Mszue!

When we think of all Adam has been through, he has hardly ever had a PR person speak for him (RCA Twitter a bit). Mostly that has worked well, as we know. There have been very few press releases on his behalf. I think Adam has done his best to say what he can about the album and single, but most of it has been fairly vague still. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything until there was a firmer schedule. I don't know.

ATTENTION SUSIEFIERCE, RABBITOPIA, and others... OT, but because I wasn't the only one worrying about this earlier, I thought I'd post to the general atopulation... I know there are are lot of twitter users here, in varying stages of anonymity...For those who worry that our embarrassing stan fan accounts are being recommended to people we know in RL based on info gleaned from our email and facebook and other places they spy on collect data on us, I found the solution. Twitter has recently started recommending our accounts to other followers (and recommending we follow others) based on private info, but if you BLOCK the account that provides this service, @twittersuggests, then they won't suggest you follow peeps you know any more and they won't suggest they follow you. Here's a link to the page that explains the creepy-ass innovative service: support.twitter.com/groups/31-twitter-basics/topics/108-finding-following-people/articles/20075772-about-twittersuggestsScroll down to "Not interested. How do I opt out?" for an explanation. Hope this helps some of us maintain our privacy a little longer and sets some minds at ease. Not working for me

vivlite, it could all be done by Adam too. He could tweet updates like Chris Daughtry does. It doesn't have to even be specific things about specific songs, just general things, would be nice. We think Adam tweets a lot, but the tweets that are actually about him are far and few between. I understand how you feel though. Today I am very tired. Hang in there!
ETA: Just wondreing if anyone has been over to AO? Is RCA Ed's head ready to explode?

No wonder Adam needs to keep things kind of close until he's ready....his tweets do get picked up and stories created about them. Mainly by the internet sites, but we'll see if it goes further.

And Smokeyvera, I went back and watched the vid of Justin Timberlake fans. The comatose girl with the doctor..that be me Just so you all know, I am not a drama queen by nature. Something really has to get to me to respond as I have today. You have all been very kind not to judge me.
