Does Adam have any words in the film, or just a brief appearance?

I hope it does OK at the box office....hopefully worldwide it will. Q3.....Do Brian and Roger have their own money invested in this movie? I have no idea how that works...their relationship with Fox/Regency, etc. I noticed somebody posted recently an article showing that they've spent quite a lot on promo/ads, etc....can't remember the figure. From all indications folks seem to think that A Star Is Born will sweep the Oscars (I haven't seen it). I hope at least Rami will be nominated. I saw A Star Is Born a couple of weeks ago and Gaga is very good but Bradley Cooper is sensational. It will do well at the Oscars I'm sure! Rami is getting good reviews so we'll see! How funny, after seeing A Star Is Born I used exactly the same words to a friend but in the opposite order. For me, Bradley Cooper was very good and Lady Gaga sensational - I totally fell under her spell. I also said that if I enjoy Bo Rhap half as much I'll be well pleased. I'll have the answer to that tonight! Can't wait.

I think people are misunderstanding some of my comments. I believe that Brian and Roger truly love Adam and think he's a gift from God as do all of us. I've just been sad after hearing him refer to himself as C list. My comment is more that I wish he were getting half the recognition for what he's doing as the movie is getting. I never said that I thought he was a cover band but obviously there are those that do which really irks me because he is the frontman for Queen in every way. Excited to go see the movie, everyone reporting seems to love it. Adam is an A list artist, but a C list celebrity, which is actually a good thing. It means that every burp he makes doesn't end up in some entertainment news, and he isn't sieged by paparazzi all day long from the moment he steps out of the house. He still gets a fair amount of interest, because he IS a celebrity, and yet he can do his own thing and not worry too much of it going public. ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/agreed-1_zps8feb54d9.gif)

I'll reserve judgement until I see it. The reviews were not glowing(except for Rami). But I did not find them that bad. They should understand that it is a PG13 movie because they wanted everyone to be able to see and it. But I have heard some people gripe that unless the movie showed Freddie in many sex scenes with men, it would mean they were hiding his sexuality. To me it simply means they are treating him as a whole person and telling a complex story. Like everyone one else, there was more to him than just his sex life and the bar scene. I hope it does well at the box office even if it is not deep enough for the critics. Weren't people even picking the trailer appart? I remember Adam being asked about it and he wouldn't have it. I think the PG13 rating is a significant thing to remember. Obviously, Brian and Roger wanted a broad audience to be able to come see this movie. They didn't want it to just be a film that exploited Freddie's sexuality. The film can address his sexuality and his struggles without showing graphic sex scenes. I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like Freddie's life is portrayed accurately but with respect as well. I think audiences will probably love despite the reviews. And I anticipate some great audience participation in the movie theaters!

Oh well....it'll be fun to spot him. Shoot. I was hoping he would get a few words to say, just so we could hear his voice. But I will love his moment anyway. I still hope he gets a mention in the credits even without any lines. Seems like the fact that he is the actual Queen front man might give him a better chance to be in the credits. Hope so!

We've seen this look before. He dressed up as Dusty (don't remember the last name) when he was incognito? Dusty Madrid I think. Yep. Dusty Madrid. Just after Idol, when he was getting followed a lot my press, etc., he put on a baseball cap with fake hair coming down and called himself Dusty Madrid. It was kinda cute.

From what I remember I think that was part of the argument with Sasha. He wanted the movie to be more salacious and exploit Freddie's sex life and sexuality. But Brian said no. Freddie was my friend and I won't do that to him (or something like that) he said. My hat goes off to Brian. Funny but I saw an Elton John trailer and they failed to show him making out with a man either but no complaints that I have heard. I will not be surprised if BR is pretty good. But some are/will be disappointed cause they did not get to see Freddie's gayness exploited to the degree they had hoped.
