I am loving Rico more and more! RT by NoAngel ADORE HIM!!! :D Of course he's saying that ,cause he has Adam mothufuckinbeast in front him. I wonder if he ever said that again.  IamRicoLove Rico Love Stop over producing vocals. Simplicity is the key..... #TURNTHELIGHTSON  This is such a good sign and he must be talking about Adam. Isn't Sean Hayes the actor who played Sam in the LoTR Trilogy movies? Or is that someone else? That was Sean Astin--Patty Duke's son. Ah I was close, so now I don't feel so bad haha. |

Dreaming here:-) I don't think it's such a dream. It sounds entirely plausible to me. It's what he was working on we know and seems like next step would be to go to his engineer. SQUEEEEEEE!!!!One of my grasping at straws, wishes, rationalizations, theories about the "delay" and Eber and Amy's subsequent tweets about following his gut, was that PERHAPS some collaboration opportunities had presented themselves and for him to pursue, he would have to give up his tentative November release date. This would obviously be a huge conflict (and potential risk) for Adam, but maybe his gut was telling him to pursue it. This kind of rhythmic "cred" could help seal his foray into many of the highest-rated CHR formats in the U.S. Of course, it's entirely possible all this was in the works from weeks or months back, since he is still inside his original timeline BUT I would love to think some of these people had gotten wind of his album's potential and expressed interest in working with him.    |

I came across an essay written by the long-time partner of a soldier who was about to be deployed. Again. He wouldn't be able to go and see his boyfriend off as the other SOs would. His partner couldn't keep photos of their lives together over his bunk as all the others did. If they were to have children together, he couldn't even mention their existence. , loved this post. (Also enjoyed your post about Sean Hayes and the music/comic timing connection -- interesting). So happy about the repeal of DADT. I keep thinking about a little personal story related to my children. When my older two (who are close to Adam's age, and gay/bi) were adolescents, my younger son (who is straight) was about 5 years old. One day he asked me "What does 'gay' mean?" (I'm pretty sure he was hearing it in school about his brother, and possibly his sister). I said something like "It means that a boy loves another boy or a girl loves another girl". My son said "Oh, that's sad!" I asked him why he said that. He said "Because it means they can't be with their love!" Even at that young age he knew something was wrong with the world. I have limited time to spend here now, so hope to not be posting much -- we'll see! But happy flailing, all! |
