One last comment on the GED -- even if a student has a GED and low test scores and lack activities, they have a route to get into a major university. In ever US state they can attend community college or an open enrollment university for a year or two and then apply for transfer. I did some online research and determined that at least as early as 1988, every major College and University in the US had a process for admission for candidates with a GED. So this is not new. ETA: Sorry to be OT but wanted to clarify and I thought it was a much higher hurdle until I looked. That is good to know but the impression I had gotten when going through college apps with my daughter in 2000 was that it was still a barrier. Glad I am wrong about that because I never saw the sense in discriminating against the GED.

I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful thoughts for my Grandmother yesterday. We had great news this morning - she is feeling MUCH better and is even sitting up in her chair. It amazes me that a 103yo woman can still fight back from illness. When my father got there yesterday morning, she was in bad enough shape that he (and the caregivers at her home) thought it would only be a matter of hours, but she rallyed throughout the day, had a good night's rest and is vastly improved this morning. Nice to hear the news, she is so inspiring.

JMHO --- the experience of my son applying to colleges and the entire associated process was not fun or user friendly! Something that important and expensive should involved better treatment and info to the students and parents.

Did you notice the key pendant Sauli is wearing. A present from Adam? Both Adam and Sauli seem to have time with twitter now, when they are apart. : That pendant looks like Adam's tattoo, isn't it?I zoomed in 400% and it loks like the key matches the tattoo.

No, Wal, I do NOT remember seeing those. Are they screencaps from the recorded "Behind the Music" session? Looking now. Yes, they are ... OMGOMGOMGOMG!! Hot. I recognized Bonnie's sparkly shoe (guessing it's Bonnie's). Thank you, I forgot about that, I just watched it again on my DVR. Yummy, love studio Adam.
