![BigLaugh](//storage.proboards.com/3270318/images/qbrnqbsXzTklFWaXaRQQ.gif) Truly, this is the most publicity Adam has gotten for any performance here in the US---and it leaves me wondering...WHY? Yes, his KCH BELIEVE was magnificent in every way--but, IMHO, no more so than so many of his other performances throughout this last decade. Seeing Adam lounging alone, cross-legged on that couch last night,he looked kind of stunned to me-and it got me thinking ---is he pondering the same thing??? "And the beat goes on..." Fantastic, reimagined covers seem to provide their own special kind of juice. Similar to unusual duets at awards shows. Combine that with prime time network television, Adam Lambert's glorious voice, Cher in tears, etc., and the stars have aligned. Agree with everything. My personal opinion is the performance went viral primarily because of Cher's tears. The narrative was a winner headline. It's Adam's glorious voice that will keep listeners coming back.

The Vegas suit looks really sharp and flattering on Adam. Whoever styled our man deserves a big "thumbs up".

Probably because he has not really done anything vocally spectacular on a big network tv event in the US since Idol. If there was big tv coverage of him performing WWTLF, TSMGO, (Underneath, There I said It, if people actually knew the songs), Stay, and One More Try (at the Oscars with Adele doing the other song), it may have done the same thing. It can't have a big impact if a wider audience does not see it. I wish that his performance with Queen on the EMA's and Iheart had been a big network event in the US. They were greatly praised by those who saw it but it is not the same as being done on a big tv event. Please let QAL perform at the Oscars if BR is nominated. I know I've said it many times as other have here, but to me, it's ALL about getting on NETWORK TV where the masses watch and where they see performers that they don't actively seek out elsewhere. Adam has done some stellar performances on odd cable stations or at untelevised events. We fans follow the videos and watch them like crazy. But nobody else knows about them. Even shows like SNL seem to have a odd mix of musical guests, everyone from the top A-listers to some local NYC club bands. Sure would be nice if Adam finally made it onto SNL at some point. Same is true for the late night talk shows (Kimmel, Fallon, Colbert, etc.) They all have musical guests who sometimes even have a sit-down with them. I know he hasn't had huge mega-hits, but neither have many of the other performers we see on US network TV. He's as high-profile as some of them are. It took this one "Believe" performance on network TV for a high-interest event show that really stirred up excitement for him. If so many people were impressed with Believe, Lord knows they'd be impressed with a bunch of other songs he's done, and I don't just mean covers. I watch Colbert religiously and he sure does have a variety of musical guests, not just “huge” names. The fact that this impactful performance was a CBS event gives me hope for a shot on Colbert once the A4 is out...

But Adam has done those shows and others but GT was not the type of song to bring people to their knees. Adam doing an emotional ballad is very different. And it is not about playing it safe or anything like that (he has not done anything to upset some since the AMA's) but just beautiful and stunning and allowing his extraordinary voice to be heard. And he is not boring like some others who do straight up ballads. There is still fire and charisma in his performance without even trying too hard.

IMHO.. why' Believe'went viral...I think The song sung differently than with Cher, with such meaningful lyics,( never paid attention to the words before) plus Adam's gorgeous voice just made people really FEEL and identify with the message, universal theme. That's maybe why the tears .. so emotional and meaningful And the lynchpin of it all was it made Cher cry. It's the theme in all the headlines and links. "Adam Lambert's beautiful rendition of Believe Made Cher cry". It ties him directly to her emotionally....kinda puts them on the same level by raising him up to her level....links them together....IMO. Everything about it all is good for him. Had she not cried and reacted like she did, or if it wasn't caught on camera.......not sure it would have reached viral levels after the performance on TV. I'm just thrilled it all worked out for both him and Cher.

![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/adamthumbsup.gif) that would be quite a threesome! I sure hope that Adam doesn't advertise these ridiculous accessories for free. ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Chapf%20smileys/hi5.gif) I can’t even bring myself to “like” the Instagram...and the suit, while having a great fit, is looking like fish scales to me...
