Lurleene, hope you made him at least buy a copy of the book lol. Yep. It was a small publisher and I made some money but not enough to leave my day job. HA! But it was great to see him watch me get so much attention, local press (mostly), book signings and speaking engagements, lol.

Seems maybe Javi is having a " mellow" evening, as per his latest Instagram. Or just checking out his purchase from yesterday. edit add: mind you I would not have clue if that leaf is cannabis...haha just guessing! 😆

👑Destiny 🌸 @ismokedyodope Is this the series where they disgracefully kiss and tell about his love life? It's one thing if it's informative it's another when they put his personal life out there I started watching one documentary that included his lovers and all they did was brag how good he was in bed ADAM LAMBERT @adamlambert How is it disgraceful ? They’re not ashamed. I am wondering if Adam or his family would find it amusing if some of HIS former lovers did a kiss and tell ... (quote from Adam: "It’s a good laugh!"). Sorry Adam, but I see a bit of a conflict here. On one hand you like to be unfiltered, but on the other hand your own privacy seems to be important to you. Would that change if you are not around anymore? Generally speaking, men LOVE when you say good things about them in the bed department. If you want to say how good they are in bed or how well-endowed they are, you can shout it from the rooftops and they wouldn't mind. In fact, they'll love it. Maybe not all of them, but most of them. Now for women it's a different matter. Women don't usually appreciate when their sexual behaviour is being talked about, no matter how complimentary. People talking about how big and good Freddie was in bed only makes his star bigger. And I'm sure Adam wouldn't mind if his ex lovers said positive things about him as a lover, in such context. He isn't that private, in fact, he's told us some VERY private stuff about his sexual behaviour himself.

I will say again that I really enjoyed hearing from the different lovers who had been with Freddie. It didn't feel like they were sharing their experience of Freddie to bask in his fame to me. I felt they were expressing their love and joy in having the opportunity to be with him. People (like me) appreciate hearing about the real person behind the entertainer. I think it would be more disrespectful to have spoken about him this way while he was alive (may have hurt a current partner or whatever). Adam felt that he learned a lot about Freddie by watching that series and so did I! I agree. I can figure out several things I'm sure made Adam laugh and wondered what specific things he learned that he didn't already know. A lot was new to me, but I've never delved into details of Freddie's life. And in addition to all the lover's recounts...I found it interesting how much where he was in his life influenced each song he wrote. I had never thought of BR as being reflective of his relationship with Mary and that of his first bf David...done in three acts..as he was struggling with those relationships at that time. Thought it was funny with the one bf talking about his role in inspiring Killer Queen. And how he was always looking for STL...always... according to these commentators/exes. There was the CLTCL motorcycle connection to the biker dude Vince. Days of our Lives and Jim Hutton, etc. I enjoyed seeing how relationships with these exes influenced the music. Also, I never really thought about WATC as being a gay anthem. Makes sense....I just never thought of it other than a general empowerment song. Yes! I loved learning how the music related to his relationships too! Drove to SF tonight with another glambert for the sing-along version - great fun. It was my 3rd time seeing the movie, and enjoyed it just as much, especially after seeing the 6 part series Adam tweeted, I really appreciated Rami's nuanced performance even more - he did an awesome job of conveying emotions with just a look and the movie overall did a great job of showing his and the bands struggles without dwelling on them. Our theater this evening was packed, but have to say not too many of them sang loudly, there were a few in our row getting into it. They didn't always have the words to the songs, just when the band was on different stages and for the Live Aid sequence. Cool though, I would go again, hopefully with a livelier crowd.

Fingers crossed then that Adam's ex-lovers will only have good things to say, in case the opportunity arises some time (I don't want to derail the thread at this point, but I am one of those BoRhap fans who appreciated the fact that Freddie's truth was told without exploiting his sexuality. I assume that's how Brian and Roger wanted Freddie's legacy honored) I saw "Green Book" tonight. What a beautiful movie - eye opening, heartwarming, but also entertaining. I do understand now why it got the GG Best Picture award in comedy while BoRhap won Best Picture in drama.

At least in the Netherlands you have those inside, I think in more Mediterranean countries those are also growing outside. It's not the cannabis plant.
