Yahoo Entertainment @yahooent Adam Lambert finally confirms sneaky cameo in #BohemianRhapsody yhoo.it/2Fp5Uaa Yes, that was Adam Lambert at the truck stop in Bohemian Rhapsody. The singer with Queen ties confirmed Friday that he had a brief but pivotal role in the film about Freddie Mercury, which picked up the Best Drama award at Sundayâs Golden Globes. âWho is he!?â he wrote alongside a photo of himself in character as a trucker. He also touted the filmâs digital release date. Lambert was uncredited in the movie, but appeared briefly in a scene where Mercury, played by Rami Malek, is at a truck stop on the bandâs first North American tour. While making a call to his fiancĂ©e, Mary Austin (played by Lucy Boynton), Mercury notices the bearded trucker heading into the menâs room, suggesting they are about to hook up. That moment in the film is the first that implies Mercury, who died of complications from AIDS at the age of 45 in 1991, was struggling with his sexuality. Lambert had teased to Access Hollywood at the filmâs premiere in November that he had a âvery, very mysteriousâ role in the film. Glamberts quickly noticed him in the role, but Lambert himself hasnât confirmed it until now. After Lambert shared the photo, his fans were thrilled he was finally confirming the news: Lambert, who soared to stardom on American Idol, stepped in as Queenâs frontman more than six years ago. Heâs toured with the group and they had a Las Vegas residency. He told Billboard in June that he was proud to carry the torch for Mercury, one of his heroes, after becoming obsessed with the superstar in his early 20s.Not only did Bohemian Rhapsody win at the Globes Sunday, but Malek picked up an acting award too. Thereâs been a lot of drama related to the film, however, with its director, Bryan Singer, being fired from production â and he was awkwardly ignored during the awards show. One of the big pluses for all this press about BR and the cameo fuss is that for those who did not know, they are being made aware that Adam has been fronting Queen successfully and touring with them for six years. Queen is Queen and everyone knows them but maybe there were some who were not plugged in with the Adam Lambert connection and their current tours. The movie and the Adam cameo are bringing great attention to that. Really hope that BR gets a few major Oscar noms. I think they deserve it and any new attention they bring to QAL is all good.

Daily Express @daily_Express Bohemian Rhapsody: Adam Lambert cameo in Freddie Mercury movie REVEALED: Did you spot him? www.express.co.uk/entertainment/films/1071084/Bohemian-Rhapsody-Adam-Lambert-cameo-Queen-Freddie-Mercury-movie-Rami-Malek ⊠#BohemianRhapsody #FreddieMercury #AdamLambert Bohemian Rhapsody: Adam Lambert cameo in Freddie Mercury movie REVEALED: Did you spot him? QUEEN collaborator Adam Lambert has revealed his cameo in Freddie Mercury movie Bohemian Rhapsody. The American singer has collaborated with Queen band members Brian May and Roger Taylor since 2011. Lambertâs range has made him a much-loved cover singer for Freddie Mercuryâs vocals in recent years and it was only fitting he would cameo in Bohemian Rhapsody. Shared on his Twitter yesterday, the American Idol star posted a picture of himself as a trucker. Fans who have seen the movie will remember that Rami Malekâs Mercury hooked up with Lambertâs cameo character during a Queen tour, following a phone call with his fiance Mary, played by Lucy Boynton. With long hair, a beard and trucker hat, itâs not surprising that Lambert was hard to spot. The singer wrote in his tweet: âWho is he!? #BohemianRhapsodyMovie is available for digital download on 1/22!â Fans should be aware that Lambert was promoting the US digital download release, while in the UK it arrives earlier on February 16th. Another Bohemian Rhapsody cameo was Mike Myers as record producer Ray Foster. Hilariously Myersâ character referenced his famous Wayneâs World head-banging scene. He said: âNo-one is going to be head-banging in the car to Bohemian Rhapsody.â Fans will, of course, remember this as one of the most famous scenes in Wayneâs World. However, the scene almost never took place because Myers and fellow actors didnât like banging their heads so much and didnât think audiences would find it funny. Director Penelope Spheeris said: âThe guys when we shot it, were really complaining because they didnât like having to bang their heads so much. "I did so many different shots and we mounted the cameras different ways and Mike was complaining that his head hurt and he needed Advil and they were both saying that the scene wasnât funny and, "Why are we doing this?' "But itâs the scene people remember...I think itâs so memorable because itâs sort of like the epitome of joyous youth. "The song itself builds so well in that operatic way that Freddie Mercury had of writing."

TBH, it always seems disrespectful when anyone gay or straight feels the need to kiss and tell. Freddie is not here to say it is true or untrue but I doubt he would have put that info out about himself. Most people would not. The backlash that John Mayer received for doing that has haunted him to this day.
