twitter.com/socialitelife/status/1084133001150251008SOCIALITE LIFE @socialitelife Yes, @adamlambert did make a cameo in #BohemianRhapsody - bit.ly/2QJbp5B #WellDone #SneakyAdam Did you know that pop icon Adam Lambert was in the Golden Globe-winning biopic Bohemian Rhapsody? If you’re a mega fan, you did. It’s okay if you missed him, he was nearly unrecognizable in his brief cameo. Lambert tagged his post: “Who is he!?” with laughing emojis. In the scene, Rami Malek‘s Freddie Mercury is on tour with Queen and stops to take a call from his fiancé Mary Austin (Lucy Boynton). However, Freddie meets eyes with Adam Lambert’s husky-looking character as he makes his way into the men’s bathroom, lightly suggesting the beginning of Freddie’s flirtation with his attraction to men. Lambert said on the red carpet at the movie’s New York premiere for the film that he was in the movie but that his appearance was “very, very mysterious.” Bohemian Rhapsody’s home video release comes on the heels of the film being named the highest grossing music biopic of all time and scoring two major Golden Globe award wins, Best Actor in a Drama for Malek and Best Picture Drama.

Wonderful! This sure means BR is well over $750 Mil atm including foreign gross accumulated since Jan 8. —- Sing along is still not turning out to be too popular in my neck of the woods: the show starting in 5 mins is only half sold, the 10:30 pm has only two tickets sold so far. On the other hand both regular shows for today are sold out. What do you people see in your areas? I’m just curious... ...another little side note: my friend is a voting member of SAG, they send her DVDs of the movies prior or soon after release so she can vote. Most of the movies were sent in time, except two: The Favourite had sent a booklet with pictures from the movie and BR had sent a useless flyer. Today she called me to excitedly report she just got the BR DVD in yesterday’s mail and because it won the GG’s she MUST watch it right away , I.e. today. i am scrambling to make time to go see it with her as I am dying to see if the DVD has any outtakes!

YAY Nica! Enjoy and report deets back to us.
No BR here or sing alongs...but I think there are a couple of theaters in Birmingham doing sing a longs at a couple of showtimes. I didn't expect it here.....the movie itself only had 6 folks in the matinee I saw when it first came out and only 7 right before it was pulled. I'm rural and not indicative of more populated areas.

I guess this explains why Lucy was not on stage when BoRap won! “Bohemian Rhapsody” scored two wins at the Golden Globes on Sunday, but most of the cast had to wait for the afterparties to celebrate due to the Hollywood Foreign Press’ ticketing rules. Rami Malek, who won the award for best actor in a drama motion picture, walked the red carpet with co-star and girlfriend, Lucy Boynton, and he sat at a table with the film’s producers inside the actual ceremony. But while he accepted the award for best drama motion picture with the film’s producers, Graham King and Jim Beach, the rest of the cast watched the show from the Fox-hosted celebration on the roof deck at The Beverly Hilton as the Golden Globes were being held inside the ballroom at the same location, an insider told Page Six on Thursday. Our insider said the “producers took all the tickets for themselves” and since their win was such a surprise, “family members of producers were on stage to accept the award.” We’re told that one producer even brought multiple guests with them. pagesix.com/2019/01/11/bohemian-rhapsody-cast-snubbed-at-golden-globes-ceremony/Well that doesn't make total sense because family members for BoRhap were not on stage, however there was family up there for Roma's foreign film win. But it did look like they only got enough tickets for one table whereas Roma got multiple because of so many nominations.
