I believe he can handle it. What he said was a simple fact and not out of line, but it takes courage to voice an unpopular opinion, no matter how big or small the audience. I was actually tempted yesterday to say exactly the same here that I read in Brian's tweet this morning, but instead I left a comment that wouldn't rile everybody up. Oh, I did use some of it in one of my posts as well. And I noticed, that my opinions weren’t that popular. I just find it totally exaggerated, that there are even fans now, who want to get rid of their QAL tickets. Or glamberts, who want Adam to break with Queen, because of this. It’s simply nuts, what’s going on. Until now it’s still a minor thing, I just hope, this will be over soon... I noticed I always embrace opinions that go against the common grain as they make me think. I think everybody is free to sell their QAL tickets while others are probably happy to buy them up. We are in fact dealing with a highly sensitive issue. I understand that many people are overtaken by emotions due to personal experiences of sexual abuse or stories from loved ones, and I do not intend to diminish the seriousness of sexual abuse and the importance of the #MeToo movement, however I think it is equally important to acknowledge the fact that BS is innocent until proven guilty, so for me to blacklist or shame anybody who has been associated with him is totally overblown. Do I wish that Adam's name would never be mentioned in connection with Brian Singer's "inner circles"? Yes. To get back to Brian's inspiring IG post, I hope that those who have suffered sexual assault will have the COURAGE to come forward, so justice can be done.

That's about this? Most of the reactions on this tweet are why punish a whole cast for something one person did. TIME'S UP @timesupnow The recent allegations regarding Bryan Singer’s behavior are horrifying and MUST be taken seriously and investigated. There are more and more activists, who want the media and some celebrities to announce statements against Singer and take whatever action. When you look at this person‘s Twitter account, you can see a lot of what’s going on. She reposted a lot of it. Even posts by some activists. By the way: she‘s a longtime glambert, that’s why I follow that account from time to time. I think, her account shows a bit of a summary of all the the negative things going on today.... mobile.twitter.com/IDontNeedAMap84I think she is more of a Sauli and Adam fan. Has not been pleased because her fantasy and choice for Adam has been pushed aside. Does not want to see the new guy take hold. Never seemed to like the movie in the first place. Why do we put so much power and faith in what others think? The GLaad decision must be disappointing to those involved with the movie (and fans) but the award season is almost over. Chances are ASIB was going to win the Oscar anyway but hope none of this stops Rami from winning. But it may.

Yes, I know....... I thought so. 😉 Do you have any idea, when Adam will finally move? I have no idea. Haven't seen any pics from the new house in months...last one was the upward extension of the front wall out by the street. I look from time to time on Stonehurst's account and haven't seen any posts since the kitchen demo....which was a long time ago.

Javi's home from work. He's posted this view with a heart several times. Home? That’s the view from Adam’s upper balcony. 😁 I am not familiar with Adam's view from the balcony but it warms my heart to know that Javi is not by himself in his apartment. That accident this morning must have been super scary.

So yes it might very well stop Rami from winning. Which is a shame to me. The Advocate @theadvocatemag The #GLAADAwards have pulled #BohemianRhapsody's nomination over #BryanSinger. Will @theacademy follow its example in #OscarNoms? bit.ly/2B2yWJL

Well, I have logged on to a firestorm. Unfortunately, we are living in an age of self-censorship (I imagine that the majority of posters have to think about whether to even post something without thinking, worrying, or imagining the backlash. I have also done this). I’m not saying don’t think before you post—that can be a good thing. What I’m talking about goes far deeper here. I believe and/or hope this will be over for Brian soon, because the other side of self-censorship, of course, is other people trying to censor others or just vomiting out vitriol based on whatever.
That said, I think that Brian is the master of instagram in the way that every few days, he posts something concrete that people can relate to, whether it is him sweaty and wishing to have been doing something else than exercising to a brief lesson on some phenomena in the sky, to today’s post about the Native American painting and his planning on co-writing a book on the liminal, etc....experiences of each group. He also posts some mysterious pictures and may post a hint about them.
But he always keeps each post accessible, and he often ends the post with something like “What do you think, folks?”. Bri
I really, really wish Adam would do something like this, with his own spin on it, and not so much pictures from parties, often taken by friends, or all of those pictures that need to be opened up. He is smart, articulate, and funny, and I think spending the relatively short amount of time doing something like this would pay off in spades.
I never knew there had been people who had actually wanted Adam to separate from Queen. “Mind your own soup”, I have heard from older relatives in the Deep South where I was born.

To get back to Brian's inspiring IG post, I hope that those who have suffered sexual assault will have the COURAGE to come forward, so justice can be done. Thanks, and yes, I can also understand both sides of the story - meaning Brian’s and that of his critics. Yes, going by the law, Brian is right. The problem in the case of sexual abuse is, that you can barely prove it. Because there are usually no witnesses. So from a moral standpoint, that statement is very shaky. As I mentioned yesterday: Queen cannot give a statement, that will satisfy everyone. They and FOX knew about Singer‘s past, when he was hired. And they simply can’t speak up against him now, because legally, they would be wrong. It’s a bad situation and as you and others said, I would wish, that people would differentiate between the movie and the person. That’s all.

I didn’t post the account for the Adam/Sauli stories or that fans personal opinion of the movie. As I said: There are mostly reposts, that summarize, what’s going on - on that side of the medal. Because yes, I do believe, that this can hurt Rami and Queen, if these activists keep going. (OK, I see now, the first post is already telling..)
