I simply see it as two different things: the movie has nothing to do with QAL. It’s their story from the past. Furthermore, Rami is an actor, speaking as such about his job, which was to portray Freddie. Like he played Mr. Robot and other roles before. He will do other ones. His role in Queen is temporary. Adam on the other hand has been a member of the Queen family for the last 6/7years. That’s why he gets asked about everything Queen in interviews, including the movie. Maybe I would care more, if Rami was a musician. I actually find it much more astounding in a negative way, that Queen‘s Social Media Pages barely ever mention Adam. Take a look at their Official Instagram or Facebook pages. It’s like Adam doesn’t exist. Even when they tour, there is just an occasional pic, where he happens to be in the picture with Brian and Roger. I came across one of the men, who run Queen Official and is also responsible for the forum. He’s a longtime fan and doesn’t like Adam fronting Queen. He has been a roady as well on QAL’s first tours in 2014/15, when he did his daily news posts from behind the scenes. Very interesting, but he managed to ignore Adam almost completely for the whole tour, while writing about the concerts ect. He did the podcasts as well, which you can find on their site. Podcasts with Brian, Roger (several), Rufus, Neil, Spike, Tyler, Marc Martel and more. No Adam. Members of the forum have asked and started a thread for an Adam podcast. No answer. And that’s how they run Queen‘s social media: they ignore Adam. Queen is Freddie, Brian, Roger and John. Nothing else. If Rami has been close to these people while filming, it’s no wonder, that QAL doesn’t really play a role in his view of Queen. Hint: There are also members of the Queen family, who really like Adam. Mainly those, who get to know him personally on tour. But as I wrote above: not everyone. I think, the fans on the whole are more appreciative. But the absolute diehards are inside the Queen machine. And I would wish, Brian and Roger would change that to some degree. nightowl , you commented before I modified my previous post a bit haha. In general, I don't hold any sour grapes as I am not in other forums and thus am often oblivious of a lot of things and miss most of the nasty bickering. However, I just went on Queen Official and I only saw Adam's picture under the "live/upcoming shows" section. www.queenonline.com/upcoming_shows - may be that's appropriate for a Queen forum. I can imagine that Brian and Roger would have some input. May be they think it is smarter to not stir the pot too much and let things flow as they do. It has worked for them. I remember that roadie from the QAL tour in 2014/2015 and his behind the scenes updates, and I actually liked his posts until I noticed that he never ever mentioned Adam. That was strange. And then he was gone anyways. It seems that Adam is not to everybody's liking, which is hard for us adoring fans to understand. The reasons are probably many - jealousy, loyalty to Freddie as the "essence" of Queen, and simply not liking Adam as the new frontman. He IS different from Freddie. Most Adam fans love him in this role, because we love him, and many Queen fans have come on board though. Their current success is proof!!! If(!) there is resentment toward Adam from diehards within the Queen machine, I can imagine that it is not always easy for Adam to deal with, however the adoring crowds at each concert should make up for it, as well as the fact that there is increasing demand for QAL. Numbers do speak. That blog the guy did is still available on Queenonline, just been reading through it and I don't get the impression he didn't like Adam and he does mention him. He said - One final thing, it has been noted on some of the comments here that I have not mentioned Adam in my updates, it is something I was aware of, but for no particular reason. I have not met Adam at this point, only witnessed him on stage in 2012, here in rehearsals and at iHeart. I am not going to enter any debate on his role here, it bores me. The guy has stepped up to tackle one of the greatest music catalogues ever and is clearly his own man, delivering the goods with brutal confidence. I am part of a team here to support him. It might sound like I am toeing the line, but the guy is good, really good and with each song he sings that I witness I just find myself nodding, cheering him and the band on from within. He also said further down - Oh, and here comes another, on the subject of my Adam mentions or the lack of, as some had pointed out. I've now met him and what a lovely guy too. Honestly, he's just nice, and nice people deserve good things. He did mention Glamberts a few times as well. Here's the link in case anyone want's to read it - www.queenonline.com/features/queenonline-on-tour-notes-from-the-road-the-platinum-collection

He was especially nice in this Blogg. But read the whole thing, he barely mentioned Adam. It took me a while to realize that as well. It was actually one of his last posts of that tour (Europe 2015 I think). He wrote about a concert, wrote about EVERY band member in detail. And forgot the frontman. I‘m occasionally an active member on Queen Online. I know this guy. He’s not involved in discussions about QAL or Adam any longer. He just ignores him. Which is no crime at all, it just is a bit impractical, when that guy runs parts of Queen Online.

I'm kind of curious about how fans move around, or stay put, when artists make changes, leave groups, join new groups, etc. So am asking about the Queen Extravaganza fans and how they have respond to changes. Anyone know:
Did Marc Martel's fans from the Christian rock band he was in (I think I read they put out 10 albums) become a large part of his Queen Extravaganza fan base?
Are Marc's QE fans now following him in his solo work, or more or less remaining with QE despite changes in the line up? Doing both?
Is there a new fan base coming together for Alirio Netto, the new lead singer for Queen Extravaganza? Also, are his fans from being a popular singer in Brazil and from being in the Brazilian We Will Rock You following him over to QE? Do they become QE fans in general along with being AN fans?
Queen Extravaganza must be very well regarded and very successful financially to attract singers (MM and now AN) who were successful in their own endeavors prior to joining QE.
Thanks.

I don’t know about Marc‘s fans before QEX. All in all, QEX doesn’t have a real fanbase, IMO. most of the times, they play pretty small venues and the attendees are Queen fans. Some of them dislike QAL, some don’t have the money for QAL some attend both. I haven’t seen Queen/QEX fans talking about Marc‘s solo work online. Only when it concerns Queen. Some do dislike, that he recorded a Cover Album of Queen. Most of them completely ignore that. Many QEX fans stay with QEX, although most haven’t been happy with Alirio Netto at first. But there are 6 members, and 2-3 have their own fans. I guess, their fans do/ would also attend Marc’s new Show. Both groups are clever enough not to play the same continents at the same time. It’s Queen‘s music, that the attendees want to hear. As long as it’s a good show, that is in this case also affordable for most people, enough Queen fans will go. Plus, QEX had played more album tracks in the past, while QAL usually plays a Greatest Hits Set. A plus for real fans. I don’t think, that the singers make much money. It’s said, that MM left, formed his own band and recorded that Cover Album, because of Money. They are essentially a hired touring band. Happy to get a job from the Queen guys and their appreciation. Feeling like afreddie & Co, while playing Queen audiences. That’s a big deal for Queen fans, what they all are. And no, I would probably not go and see them. Thanks for the information Nightowl. It helps me understand this particular fan situation better.

I think there's more than one Admin on there but the one I'm familiar with is JLP. I know he doesn't like Adam or at least doesn't like him singing with Queen if that's the same guy.
