Should I be offended? If there was a ? I’d think it was up for debate. So, Buder, did you finally figure out who I am? Ha, ha, ha! I think Buder is referring to Michael Douglas! Hey, hey....I love Michael Douglas! The actor. Don't know much about his personality, but I do know that he is right now very ill and dealing with sh*t and she is standing by his side and helping, so they are one of the few Hollywood couples I can still believe in, quite frankly....so what is this crap about putting him down! ;D  ;D Me not likey! And keyboard, you challenged us way back on PF already, trying to make us play Sherlock Holmes and I have nothing else to go by than your definitely much-too-intermittent posts on this site, but I think I have sorted it out...so if you don't know whether you are OUTed as a husband, I think you are OUT and I am a rather infrequent poster here. Btw, I love your posts, especially the humorous as well as the music business related ones. And not sure if this is any consolation: Most of us women don't tend to run after the 'Joe Perry' of our choice, we may day dream about them a bit, but in reality we love our men, mean chilly or lousy chilly or anything in between....and then we hope and pray that our DHs will not run off with the newest version of C. Zeta-Jones either. Sometimes our prayers are heard.  |

And to keep this on topic because if taht's not a rule it should be, I loved Adam's speech at the PFlag award. As someone earlier said (you know who you are) respect for the man. I will never begrudge Adam his initial reaction to the ‘Gay Messiah’ meme that was thrust upon him in the beginning, too heavy a mantle for someone so young and at the start of his career. He has known HIS life and is still a young man finding his way in the world. I am more than willing to cut him some slack as far as understanding what his life may have been like without HIS family and outside of HIS comfort zone of SoCal/Hollywood. IMO he has never made important life choices lightly. He seems to weigh his options and live with them for a while before he chooses his path. He seems to have chosen to be fulfilled by his emerging role rather than letting himself be overwhelmed by it. A lesser man could drown under the pressure, but because he hasn’t made this choice impulsively I think he has thought about ways to wear this mantle well, without it sitting so heavily on his shoulders. I am proud of him and look forward to all aspects of his future. Very smartly said. I agree. |

Uwww!! After being on this board for some length of time, I think I know now now who Keyboard is husband too! I have been on this board a long time too and I have no frickin' idea who keyboard's SO is and I pride myself on being an excellent puzzle solver, so you can imagine my chagrin. However, the good news is that by tomorrow I will probably forget that I don't know and all will be well with the world again. I was visiting my mother at her retirement community today and she received a reminder to donate to the Alzheimer's Drive and she shrugged and said, "Oh shoot, I keep forgetting to donate!" I literally LOLed at the irony and she looked at me like I was crazy. It runs in the family, fortunately not Alzheimer's, just crazy. |
