Cassie, thanks for asperger's info. I don't have it, but I swear I might have some of those complications normally. We all need to give James a break and hope someone takes a liking to him and gives him some good advice. Like forget about Adam and find your own voice. I hope Idol is not manipulating him and encouraging him to sound like Adam. That would be a shame. I really don't know if someone with aspergers AND tourettes will be able to handle the stress involved with Idol the show each week, all the rehearsing, much less the tour if he makes top 10, etc.

Just a question for the thread:I confess I'm a bit of a nut for high quality in videos: I was one of the first DVD enthusiasts (bye bye, horrible VHS quality!) and now I'm addicted to High Definition Blu Rays. I know of at leat two friends of mine who aren't buying DVDs anymore, and prefer to wait for a Blu Ray edition even when one isn't immediately made available. The question for the thread is: why do you think there wasn't a blu ray edition of the GN DVD, and do you think it will hurt its sales? Basically Blu Ray disc sales share is too low -- player sales are up to 14% of US market, but that is deceptive because most people already have at least 1 DVD play --- must US households have more than one DVD Forecast is that digital video will replace physical media in most markets by 2015-2017 anyway. The bandwidth is being expanded rapidly to make HQ downloads of massive files practical in most of North American, Western Europe and many parts of Asia-Pacific. Feb 25, 2011: The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 12th February 2011 has just been posted. Blu-ray market share recorded its lowest result in mid-November of 2010, as the best selling titles on all discs (both Blu-ray and DVD, combined) all recorded fairly low Blu-ray market share results. Paranormal Activity 2 was the week's top selling Blu-ray title.
In fact, none of the top 10 selling Blu-ray titles recorded a market share result high enough to even get into the top 20 Blu-ray market share chart (meaning there were 20 Blu-ray titles that had a bigger Blu-ray market share than any of the 4 new releases in the top 10.More info: news.softpedia.com/news/Blu-ray-Disk-Drives-Not-Growing-in-Market-Share-Very-Quickly-168094.shtml

Totally OT, but I'm happy and wanted to share. Shadow (my dog) has completely healed and is running, jumping and playing like a puppy. Happy for you and Shadow . Tommy here would say hi too, but he is asleep. (Sorry for the OT pic, folks! Was just downloading pics from my camera and wanted to test putting pics on here - and I have no Adam material you don't have - so that's why my Tommy here. He at least has a slight connection through his namesake to the general topic of the forum. I promise I won't make a habit of this.)

Wonderful update! I know how precious our pets are. When my tabby cries, everyone freaks! He started about 5 AM this morning. I'm immediately awake and searching for him, thinking he's hurt or ill. He leads me to his dish and waits for me to feed him, the brat!

What kind of dog is that Zinnia? Thanks to everyone for your positive thoughts about Shadow. I'm convinced they helped.
