Vivlite. Thank you so much for putting what I felt like after an Adam concert into words. The time warp describes it beautifully. I, too, was hoarse, drenched in sweat, and exuberant beyond belief, but could not isolate any particular moments-- first time I ever really understood the word mesmerized in a visceral way. I was lucky enough to feel that way 7 times--it was always magical, hence my avi.

If you color the blond hair black, that Ken doll sort of looks like Adam in his Post Idol black suit.............do not want the guinea pig sitting on bb. Well, I just assumed it was Adam, gone back to his natural hair color (left the bleach on a tad too long) so as to match the ginger of his new pet hamster. (Is that thing a hamster?) I ship it. HAMSTERBERT FTW!

[qoute] Adam Lambert creates. But he creates exponentially. I am along for the ride. I try not to blink. I. DO. NOT. WANT. TO. MISS. A. THING. He knows time is slinky and I do too. [/quote] I love your post, and I feel the same way. Funny, when I first started my Adam experience, I used to hold myself in check, avoiding doing anything I thought was too crazy, However, as time went on, I realized, like you, that I didn't want to miss a thing, including attending any concerts I could manage, (that ended uo to be Gridlock and 5 GNT concerts,) buying the best tickets for concerts I could so that I could get the most out of the experience, watching every vid and interview I could find about Adam, posting thoughts frequently about Adam and my life as a fan, LOL, attending talk shows, and meeting other fans from PF, twitter and Atop. Adam has reminded me how fun it is to be a little crazy and spontaneous, especially with similarly minded friends. Life is meant to be lived , and these days, I don't want to miss a thing.

Adam is close to 891,000K twitter followers. At his current rate, I am not even close to 1 million followers guess date. By the way, this is a good thing, he will reach it earlier. Yippee! What the heck is the Guinea Pig sitting on the Ken doll? ADAM, we need album #2 yesterday........is this pic a representation of going through withdrawals??? I am saying a quiet prayer for all of us:) More pretty Adam pics and sexy video is needed, I do not want to go through recovery, I love my addiction. If you color the blond hair black, that Ken doll sort of looks like Adam in his Post Idol black suit.............do not want the guinea pig sitting on bb. I am reminded daily how far out of the current loop I actually am........Ken doll w/black hair, looks sort of like Adam, guinea pig w/scary red eye on top????? Adam, likes being on top! Since, I hope I am amongst friends, showing my "Cayman, you are so slow to get it!" Scary, gigantic, red eyed, hairy, monster attacking Adam????? I guess I am a generation behind, dang, hairdresser does an amazing job of keeping me blonde, not gray, but, now do I think as a blonde???? I need to go to bed and sleep on this. Hope I do not dream about a monster guinea pig:)

Craazy I had never read that article, but its been a long week, and I am brain dead. Thanks for bringing it over. I'll quickly say that I love Broken Open. Lots of ideas swirling about that article, but I'll let them all fall out tomorrow.

I am trying not to watch any of the GNT DVD videos because I want to see it fresh when my DVD arrives, but you guys are making it very tough! This thread is probably dead but I am just catching up and I'm only at page 10. I gotta ask, "Are you me?" I always feel a little 'special' whenever things leak and I try hard to ignore them and wait for the real roll-out. Glad to find someone else who does the same thing.

Okay, I like this review very much, but I just don't get this part:
Most disappointing is “Broken Open,” surprisingly the album’s single nod to the goth-musical theater continuum that Lambert rode to American Idol success. The song cynically attempts to reconstruct the opening moments of his cover of “Mad World” note for note, on the condescending assumption that its audience will be too dumb to notice or care. Such transparent recycling bodes ill for the larger promise of Mr. Lambert to be a groundbreaker.
Here are the two songs, back to back...WTF is he talking about? Am I missing something? I LOVE Broken Open--it never reminds me of Mad World--??
MAD WORLD
BROKEN OPEN
Craazylady, I'd never seen this--thanks much for posting it! Going back to read once more.
