It looks like Sam Sparro is working on the same time line as Adam; single in Nov/Oct and album in Jan/early 2012. I like the title "Return to Paradise" and the first single is "Happiness"; which taken with his explanation of the concept and the stated style of music makes me think I may like it a lot. I also noted that he intended to have some preview concerts late in the year and I certainly hope Adam has the same idea.It was funny when the interviewer asked about working with Nikka Costa that Sam went right back to talking about Adam. Prior to that I thought he might be repeating a semi-prepared spiel to the interviewer because he was introducing Adam that night, but the return to talking about Adam dispelled that thought. So I am going to quote myself because this got lost in the previous discussion ... Do we think Adam will have a few preview concerts of his second album after the single comes out but before the album comes out or even a Gridlock style one-off before the full fledged tour? |

Always the high road. The article mentions that Galliano sought treatment for addiction and lost his job. Galliano apologized. His statements were heartless but I am with Adam (not because I think GNAFL walks on water either..  ) |

He made apologies to those involved and has undergone treatment for his alcohol and prescription med addictions. I agree with Adam that we should move on. If he screws up again (like Mel Gibson's repeated offenses) that would be a different matter. At this point Galliano has pretty much lost everything, his job, his reputation. This is not a case of someone getting off light or free. He deserves a chance to redeem himself. |
