Hard to make much out of these lyrics fragments -- except that when Adam said this album was going to be real and personal, looks like he meant it.

Adam Lambert fans reach million dollar charity milestone www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/adamlambert/view/33330/?isworld=yFunds raised by the recent Adam Lambert Peace Pendant have helped the star's legion of fans reach a $1 million target for various charities over the course of the last two years, according to the pendant collaborator, Tim Foster from Pennyroyal. The Peace Pendant raised $40,000 for The Trevor Project, the non-profit organisation Lambert chose to benefit from the design. The Trevor Project aims to prevent suicide amongst the gay and lesbian youth community. It was the first charity to offer a nationwide, 24/7 crisis and suicide helpline for the LGBTQ group in America. Other charities which have benefited from Lambert's endorsement include Music Cares and Charity Water. Lambert designed the pendant in collaboration with Pennyroyal Studios, and the $40,000 was raised in less than two months. (more)

aspen, ICU Grrr I am so excited ETA: aralid YW And I thought I was being so sneaky lurking and reading all the funny posts. I am beyond impatient and excited for SOMETHING new from Adam. And the GMA pics reminded me of that morning, and the other 100 times I watched the vids, of how unique and confident Adam is/was that day. He always deferred to David and Kris, the two "winners," yet any time he was on stage your attention immediately swung over to him. Again, patting myself on the back for being so smart in choosing Adam in January 2009 and never doubting. I'm allowed to gush, right?

So, this is not really anything to do with Adam, but I was so incredibly lucky to be at the Sting 60th birthday party concert for Robin Hood last night - a truly amazing experience that I will never forget! Sting was phenomenal and to see/ hear him perform with Springstein, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Rufus Wainwright and a host of others was magical. interestingly, the two highlights for me were Will i Am singing "Walking on the Moon" - I was not so much a fan of his before but he blew me away, and Lady Gaga who was simply AMAZING!!!! Still can't get over her performance.
I guess to bring it back to Adam, to see the love and friendship and appreciation of each other that flowed from these artists together on stage was inspiring, and I wish for that for Adam in his life journey.

I am so tired from unpacking that I tried to put my water for coffee into a cupboard instead of the microwave earlier today. So perhaps I can't count. The tweets were from 8 and 10 hours ago -- which would be 11PM and 1PM Adam Time. Or I am so tired that I can no longer count. That's hilarious. I do stuff like that all the time and I'm not tired or unpacking. At least you are finally moved. I have that yet to look forward to. I think our sale is finally happening and we will be in our new home by Christmas. Yay for you and congratulations. See now by the time the album release actually happens you and Mayumi can set up another listening party thing!! Uhmm, oops, entitled fan here but I had so much fun last time at Mayumi's that I'm really hoping we can have another huge get together. ;D ETA: After my last move I am down to two rooms and a 10x20 storeroom. Now I have to go through the storeroom and make myself get rid of stuff I don't really need.

I'm behind, will someone catch me up?
What is the consensus/theory of why Adam 2 is delayed until early 2012? Is this good or bad? Is there a new educated guess for a release date? Thanks

Haha, does anyone else think that all the lyrics he has just tweeted refer to his relationship with Sauli? Very cool lyrics. I love the gun metaphor, it's like he's the gun, he's speaking from the point of view of the gun. It could refer to anything: sexually ready to go, ready to go in one's life... The iceberg metaphor is one that is used a lot in cross-cultural training - when two cultures meet, the tip of the iceberg is the obvious differences (language, clothing maybe, customs), but what you can't see but is much deeper is the other cultural differences - values, norms, way of seeing the world. I am so excited!! I would put smiley faces and stuff, but I'm too busy and not enough time to look them up. Yay!
