According to her twitter feed 5 hours ago she was on her way to Orlando, 3 hours ago she tweeted that she was in Georgia. The tweet about Adam was 1 hour ago. So plane flight maybe?ETA: oops, a little before that she said something about having to drive 12 hours. Maybe she's following him in her car. Florida>>Georgia>>Alabama!!! We'll be on the lookout for him! ;D Amazingly it looks like only 1 fan has tweeted her a question and she has ignored it and said nothing else about Adam. Just seems to be chatting with her friend. |

So happy that we are growing up as a fandom and there are only a few stray disgruntled tweets!
Nothing wrong with talking/bitching about it amongst ourselves, but the Sing Off judging comments are completely understandable in the context of the show, even if I don't agree with them. And definitely not something that Adam needs "defending" against on twitter, so I'm glad that most fans out in twitterland seem to have restrained any impulse they might have had to do it.

I didn't hear any slight to Adam. I'm pleased that they obviously know who Adam is and know the song. Sarah's mentioning of Pink wasn't to diss Adam but rather to go with her girl power theme. Yeah I didn't either, but going with the poor victim!Adam meme of this fandom I was expecting shit to hit the fan....happy it didn't but I was ready for the wank and lulz..... I think "poor victim" is a bit extreme. Yes, people do overreact, but oftentimes with great provocation – sometimes the hate projected at him is such that I would be hard-pressed to ever leave my house again if I encountered it in my own life. I mean, if I heard these things being said about anyone I had any knowledge of whatsoever, I'd likely feel like I was punched in the gut. When people react to ignorant comments, it can be considered educating or lobbying and that's how industry and politics has existed for decades. Yes, in some cases people will lobby you with defensiveness and aggression (hellooo, Fox News), but other times they will engage you and share their opinions/knowledge. Sorry, I know all the "rules" about Internet protocol and not reacting to haters or trolls, but standing up to injustice is the only way that any true change has been made in this world, so I say ... Pick your battles and if you feel you need to say something (if only to make yourself feel better), I say do so without apology. |

Dreamer is my favorite song on Cam's first album! HOLY SH*T!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand, "Dreamer" is already on Cam's album, so if Adam sings it for his album, will that be a cover, though? :-/ Yes, it would be a cover. I don't think it fits what Adam would want in a single, but I am all for it being on the album or even as a bonus track. Daughtry released an EP called "The B Sides." They were songs that didn't make his last album. It would be awesome if Adam doesn that eventually too. |

I assumed she was actually talking about overreaction on twitter to perceived criticism of Adam, not to instances of actual hatred or bigotry. |
