Yeah, I get where Ben Folds was coming from - I don't think the original WWFM arrangement best showcasts the message of the song - and Adam made that obvious, actually, when he took it acoustic, and made it so beautiful. But putting together Ben Folds kinda slight, with the Sara Bareilles kinda slight ("few people know this is a Pink song, that Adam Lambert made famous") I was kinda annoyed, I'm not gonna lie. The girls did a great job though. Sara Bareilles slight? Erm what was that about? And ya can't hate on it too much...I mean it's a pretty accurate statement lol. It is a Pink track originally and Adam did make it famous. LOL seems kinda cut and dry. Eh, I agree, I think I'm just super touchy about it. Don't mind me ;D |

I know someone mentioned this event earlier, but I don't think the visual was shown. If it has been then sorry but at least the colors are pretty. I just received an email with this invite and although it does not mention Adam, I find it hard to believe that he would not be there.  |

Oh, and regarding the slight/no-slight-at-all: I definitely would not think to take it to twitter and make a big deal out of it. It was not a big deal at all, comments were appropriate, and I heart myself some Sara Barellis (or however you spell her name). "King of anything" was my jam. The girl has sass. Just musing on this, cause I have nothing else to do, I just wish that sometimes the comments would be more along the lines of "this was great, but nobody can touch the amazing Adam Lambert and his interpretation" rather than "well, your version was even better than Adam Lambert's version". And I also wish Adam became known as an artist in himself, with no need to bring up Pink into the equation. Now, of course, Pink did *write* the song (and I'm a HUGE fan of hers, btw), so the answer here is just for Adam to start writing his own stuff and smash with it, which he is hopefully doing now with his second album. Again, this is me splitting hairs, talking for the sake of analyzing, etc etc. Carry on.  |

Delilah did a FANTASTIC job with WWFM. Really nice. The harmonies were haw dropping, I thought. And it works in favor of Adam too, because people clearly liked the song and now they are buying it.  |

Delilah made it to the next round. The judges liked their rendition of WWFM but not so much their second song, Heat Wave. So I guess Adam's song kept them in the competition! ;D WWFM rising up in iTunes....ok then....let's have more people sing it on competition shows!!  |
