No way of knowing for us, from the first few tweets if something is true or not. So I'm not gonna bring over any tweets or other things anymore since I rarely post here anyway these days but was guilty bringing the first Emily-things here. Oh well. Oh zinnia that is what I was afraid of. I posted the Walmart tweet here and I felt guilty for bringing over something false. How could you possibly knew? How could I knew? :-/ For a certain amount of time everyone was flailing on twitter and at Atop. If we don't discuss it at Atop how can we know? :-/ I mean, I also follow Muse and a couple of months ago during their tour they had a couple of days off and no one knew where they were and suddenly they posted a picture on twitter. They were holding a huge lobster and said they were in a Greek island for 2 days, just taking a little vacay. Nobody expected that. IDK. I say if it's a f un, positive Tweet then bring it over! If we flail for a few hours and then find out it's fake.... hey, the flailing over that girls shopping tweet was fun! Eventually the Ninja's will sort it all out. |

I used the Walmart example because it is a case where there are prob 500,000 Adam fans online who know there is no Walmart in West LA where Adam is likely to go. They can tell fans that Adam would not be in Crenshaw/Culver City shopping in a Walmart. Q, I think you way way overestimate our knowledge of Walmarts. I don't know where they all are in my town and and it ain't all that big. That and having driven thru LA all of 2 times, once in a shuttle bus, I still don't know where West LA is other than um West of LA? The only way I'd know anything if I decided it was so interesting that I'd whip out Google maps and see if they have West LA outlined. Oh, is it a town or a region? But hopefully what you are saying is that bringing over tweets here is ok because on a forum like this we have a better chance of confirming or debunking them than just trading it around twitter? |

Well, the one on Crenshaw Blvd. is South LA. It's not the best area of town, so I would guess he would not shop there, even though it is not that far from him. Culver City actually is West LA, but there'd be no reason for Adam to drive that far to go shopping. Too much traffic. He lives on the East side of the 101. If he needed sundries and such, I would guess he would go to a Target which has several stores right in the city. Or the Rite Aid, where he was once photographed with Drake, which is actually just a few miles down the road from him. Could Adam have been in a WalMart? Sure. Is it probable? I'd say no simply because he has other similar stores closer to him. And that is your Hollywood/LA Geography lessn for today, jablea! ;D ETA: Hey, just thought of something! Maybe Sauli wanted to see a WalMart?! LOL! It would be funny if Sauli mentions WalMart in his next blog! |

Edit: as reported below...maybe this is wrong...was it the fans who donated??? and the media does not have the right information. If so the next paragraph is junk.
Way to go Adam!! ]...wonder if he donated the peace pendants to an organization? or individuals? (easier to an organization)
Good to see him hopping on board too, just like many of the fans who donated to others. Good on yah, those who could... did!

I wrote up a note not long a ago about the concept of Adam choosing a main charity that he could champion. Is that good or not as good as what he does? Plus side ..he is a spokesperson for it, plus side for choosing a variety of charities...he is getting known by more groupings of people.
The one thing I really liked about Charity Water was for those of us who are not US citizens the result was a more a world-wide issue, versus...Donors Choose which assisted the US educational system. The question for myself was should I, or why wasn't I donating to my own country's educational system? Food for thought.
