Sounds like Monte may have to choose which tour to do. With a family of 4 kids and one income, I think he would be crazy to not choose Madonna. I'm sure that paycheck is many times what Adam can pay. I think I would miss Tommy more than Monte. As long as Adam is on stage, ultimately, I really don't care who is in his band. well, I can't say I wouldn't care, - I've watched those people onstage with Adam for nearly two years, I feel like I know them, almost :D And I like them all, and admire their talent too, so. But I'll be okay if someone won't be able to join Adam next year, like Sasha, probably, or Monte, or anyone. It's business, and it doesn't mean they can't be friends with Adam still, and I'll still like them. If Monte has to choose, I think he'll choose Madonna, and of course Adam won't have a slightest problem with that. It's all good:) You pretty much capture my sentiments -- I care and have gotten to know the whole Glamily. But I also can accept change which is inevitable. That is, as long as Adam is the man up front!!

TaraS101 Tara S Katri to Sauli: You met Adam Lambert? with translation english www.youtube.com/watch?v=xopyCHx_D1w9 minutes ago Uploaded by pmpz82t on Oct 4, 2011 I Don't own this video. Translation below!! 11-08-10 Original video: www.iltasanomat.fi/videot/viihde/IS-Tutka%20Mit%C3%A4%20j%C3%A4rke%C3%... Translation: Katri: Hey did you see Adam Lambert at the afterparty? yesterday? Sauli: Yes... not yesteday but saturday! Katri: What afterparty it was? Sauli: They had gig and they were in some restaurant in Helsinki, where I saw Adam Lambert. I talked with him a quite long time. He was so nice. Katri: I'm so jeaulous! I Heard he talked about astrology and other stuff? Sauli: Well I don't know... lets not talk about details... Katri: Yeah! Yeah!.. Katri: Now we are talking about dancing with the stars...... I love this!! Seeing Sauli's reaction to Katri's question, now that we know he spent the night with Adam, is so precious! He looks just a tiny bit embarassed - first trying to be very matter-of-fact about it, with authoritative hand gestures, then hiding his face in his coffee, and then just plain saying he wants to avoid the subject... Cute! She's a gem. Even if she assaulted him for details after the show, she was tuned into his hesitation to talk details on the air. Good for both of them. Very telling.

Aaaah. Seriously, you probably don't want to know. In a nutshell, Lisa (Monte's wife) tweeted when she was very angry at someone. It appeared that she was angry at Adam, though she did not name him even when confronted by a number of Glamberts. Her tweets were in the nature of "fame changes people" and that sort of thing. Speculation was that she was upset about some career opportunity that didn't pan out, perhaps that none of Monte's songs were chosen by Adam for the new album. Previous interviews with Monte indicated that he was almost taking it for granted that Adam was going to record some of his songs. The whole thing was awful and childish, one of my worst days ever in this fandom. I felt like dropping out forever. Really? Over a member of the touring band? Don't get me wrong, Monte seems like a nice guy and I don't have anything against any of them, but reactions like this could be a good reason to start over with a new band for every tour. Create some excitement, put the focus back on Adam! Adam is a solo artist who uses studio musicians on his albums. Everyone is replaceable...except Adam, of course! Wondered how long it would take to get a kick in the ass. That was quick.

I agree. I could care less if Adam has ALL new band and dancers. I ONLY watch Adam. Several times, when I was right in front, one of the dancers or band might have caught my eye when they jumped up on the stool right in front of me but other than that - I only had eyes for Adam and I don't expect that to change on the next tour. needacoke-That's how I feel. I don't care who Adam's band members or dancers are, just so they do their job and support him well. I think this last tour group was good, but I have no allegience to any of them. Only Adam. I feel the very same. Enjoyed "most" of the troupe during the last tour but have absolutely no attachment to any of them. Some "new blood" might be exciting.

I really liked Zac as well as Lisa. I could hear Lisa harmonize w/Adam whereas Cam kinda was a silent keyboardist. DIdn't the audio technician mentioned that Adam paid twice as much as other gigs so maybe Monte will stay w/Adam. ALso in consideration is the length of the tour, being a family man, Monte might want a super gig. Like everyone has said, I really only care about Adam but my eyes are focused on only him. Just give me confirmation that a tour is happening right now! I haven't gotten a rejection letter yet, but I don't think I'm in the running if Cam is unavailable. You win some, you lose some. Where are the sarcasm icons? You realize I'm kidding, right? My wife would be too jealous to let me accrue groupies. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. My useless opinion, Adam had a good group of easy going, nice people surrounding him. That's important. Lisa was so talented, but I think Cam fit in better with the band maybe just because by that time they were all a little more relaxed with the whole gig. Longineau was great drummer but Isaac seemed to add a little whimsy to the whole atmosphere, and he's good. No need to comment on Monte, great guitarist but not irreplaceable if circumstances call for it. Tommy, better than just adequate bassist, though there are many more talented, but his whole attitude and vibe seems to relax and enhance Adam's performance. I never really understood some of the animosity toward him unless it's because of crazy fans and their misplaced theories about him and Adam and that's not his fault. As usual my opinion is just one of the many valid and divergent ones that pepper Atop. I just know that the more you like your bandmates, even if Adam is a solo artist, the easier it is and the more fun you have when things get difficult or grueling.

Can please someone tell me what this tweet is about. It probably happened before I discovered Adam and I'm just curious : Aaaah. Seriously, you probably don't want to know. Previous interviews with Monte indicated that he was almost taking it for granted that Adam was going to record some of his songs. The whole thing was awful and childish, one of my worst days ever in this fandom. I felt like dropping out forever. Thank you. I think its not a suprise that things like that happen and can happen in future, too. I mean all this songwriters pour so much heart and soul in writing songs and it is sure disappointing, although they know it perfectly well that there is no guaranty, when none of your songs are chosen to end up on the album.

As for Madonna, I don't know about her specifically, but generally the fact that a person makes a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean they pay their employees any more. Maybe Madonna pays her musicians just like anybody else, but they'd rather work with her, because it's good for their resume. Strangely, it seems that Monte gained more working with Adam than working 10 years for Madonna. After only one tour with Adam, he's released an album, supported by fan's donations. Was he able to do it before?

This came out in my local newspaper early last month and I've saved it all this time meaning to post the link. It's just a treatise on the attention span of pop music fans. Adam, he's NOT mentioned, does a pretty good job of staying visable without trying to much. I'm hoping that bodes well for his longevity. read more at www.startribune.com/entertainment/music/128041358.html
