Susie, I think we are in agreement that these details should be important. But even when Adam had Lane I don't think these details got the attention they deserved. ALF's been a ghost town for months and she was in charge of the charity:water pics and it never got done. My opinion is that to a degree Adam takes our patience for granted. It's kind of like kids taking their family for granted. I hope I'm making sense to you. Anyway, he probably isn't wrong, even though I'm pissy about not getting my photo, I'm still here ;D

At one time I was midly concerned about RCA. I never thought they were screwing Adam over, I'm not in that camp. I was just concerned about the reorganiztion and how it would effect all their artists. But watching the rollouts of Kelly and Daughtry make me think they've got it all together. And, until last night, I was saying SusieFierce's reassurances in my head over and over, "We don't know what is going on behind the scenes. DMG may be planning a ton of promo and we just haven't seen it yet." But after the message from ALF site, I am concerned about DMG. If the fanclub can't get a contact person. And Tim, who has worked with Adam in the past, has not found a contact person there?? Well... ya, DMG is the big question mark in my mind too. :-/ Funny how we all interpret things differently. This doesn't concern me at all.... not even on the radar or the Penny Royal dude. I used to work in the technology industry, where changed, reorganization and taking on new clients was a continuous reality. As you can surmise, a change over doesn't happen overnight. In my mind they have prioritized their efforts. Plus you probably have the added bonus of Adam doing some rebranding - a new look and feel. The fan site, the RCA site and Penny Royal are at the bottom of the pyramid. ETA: Oh, what pjd said. LOL ITA! Kelly Clarkson's website was completely updated three weeks before her single came out. From what I understand, Kelly's official site was on "autopilot" until this time. I really don't think Adam isn't a priority, I just don't think he is a main priority YET. When his single gets closer to the release date, the other things will fall into place. There are some extremely successful artist who have bare minimum official websites. This is the offseason for Adam's team, things will start up when his single and album dates get closer. |

I was just looking at this site www.directmanagement.com/ a minute ago. Very little information, but on another site they give out information as this being a small private company with five to nine employees and approx revenues between $500,000 and one million. That is not very much to work with in the very high profile world of entertainers. The only artists I recognize are Katy Perry and K.D. Lang (love her) I trust Adam's instincts in this choice. I know he is probably totally immersed in the new album and management issues are not top priority, although I agree with SusieFierce, not good to leave things up in air. |

With all due respect to people bitching over ALF there is one part of their assumptions that drives me nuts. They are constantly complaining about Adam not blogging there and communicating with his fans. But when the fan club was first set up I seem to recall that they were very careful to state that there was NO GUARANTEE how much or what kind of interaction Adam himself would have on the site. Also Adam has repeatedly stated that HIS preferred method of communication with his fans is twitter. He has established his twitter account as THE GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC communication from him. He specifically refused to claim either his official Facebook or MySpace accounts as direct communication from him even saying flat out in the chat that he would NOT tell his fans that the posts there were from him and reiterated again that twitter would be his true authentic voice not management run as were the Facebook and MySpace accounts. Adam has indicated repeatedly that he has no desire to regularly blog. When he was the Vh1 posted artist he was supposed to blog often but made very few posts. If fans are pissed that ALF club doesn't deliver regular interaction from Adam then they have not been listening to Adam himself. Note I am not talking about any of the other legitimate complaints about the fan site but just the ones complaining at the lack of Adam interaction.

I want to buy Adam’s album ,now! And a guy called Malcolm is selling an Adam Album that is begging for Mercy ? But Adam does not know that he is begging for Mercy ? Heck he does not even know who Mercy is how much more beg for her…. As he is too busy in rapture over awesome couture for photo shoot... Then a guy says to another guy, who said that his friend the DJ said he was told by Recording bigwigs , and this is overheard by this girl, who swears that this is all true, That Adam’s real album is awesome… Hhhhmmmm, I need Sherlock Intelligence or an IQ of 180 to figure out what is going on.... In meantime I still have no music from Adam Lambert.... well there is a promise of new photos... well at least more photos for me to play with ..... sigh... being a fan is such a challenge.... being an Adam fan is such a monumental challenge....  |

Oh, BTW someone upthread asked about Q3. As far as I know, she's just still in the middle of RL insanity with the multiple moving exhaustion paired with work committments. As soon as she gets a chance to breathe, she'll be back on the board. In the meantime, there's more than enough mods to keep things chugging along. 'Sides which, ATOP operates off its members more than its management anyways! ;D  |

The photoshooting is a good indicator for this, in my opinion. Also him getting a little bit nostalgic by posting an old performance of WWFM and changing his Avi. And thinking about Christmas I would guess they should release the single not later than early November, so in 3-4 weeks, but it is just a guess and wishfull thinking. I don't know why, but today it comes so easy to me to write in english unlike the days and weeks before :D. But I'm not saying everything is correct, it is certainly full of mistakes, but I hope you can understand me |
