You're right SusieFierce I probably shouldn't have brought up the dreaded C word I hate seeing it let alone saying it. And I really don't know much about that fanbase other than second hand info. But getting so worked up over contest rewards and tee shirts? Adam has SO fucking much pressure on him right now, with so many expectations riding on this next era. I guess I hate even more the idea that while he is dealing with that, fans are banding together on ALF to agitate that he isn't meeting their vitally important needs quickly enough. It just makes me crazy thinking about it, so I guess I got a little carried away. ETA: And of course, there us a troll picking up on the meme of Adam not doing enough for his fans and spamming him about it. If you have twitter, please report: twitter.com/anoifmccardleOh jeeze. *sigh* Well, I sure hope Adam can spot a sock account a mile away by this time. Since she's not actually being abusive, don't know if reporting will have a huge impact, but she is spamming him. Again, my whole point is that having someone take a lot of this day-today minutia off his shoulders will allow him to focus on just where he needs to be, what he needs to be doing and preparing, creating and loving. He shouldn't have to be bothered with all of the "stuff." There are many efficient, talented people out there who can take care of the little stuff for him so he and DMG can work on the biggies, which I am confident they are.

One of the moderators on ALF just posted that she and other moderators are having a chat with ground (ctrl) staff on Tuesday in which they will be given an update on the management situation. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, is learned at that time. Full post was this: Maybe table the ALF discussion until then ? ETA: Lynneville, that first gif ...

So why doesn't someone contact Eber and let him know the frustration. Then we have a direct link to Adam?? Oh no! Please don't bug Eber about Adam stuff. That's so wrong. :-/

Off course he's working his butt off right now. That's the whole point of what I (and maybe Susie) have been trying to say. It seems, that the DMG switch happened around July. It is now October. Being busy, is not an excuse for letting won prizes (like Chats or DMs) going ignored. Or promos like Charity:Water photos not being sent out. Charity: Water ended over six months ago! Or fanclub merchandise, promised at sign ups, not being delivered. It's bad business. Should Adam be handling all this himself? Of course not! He is BUSY! Do I think the fan club mods should have a DMG person to contact by now? Absolutely! Should Tim, from Penny Royal have a contact person at DMG by now? IMO, yes! Should he be getting DMG or should DMG be getting their shit together by now, IMO, "Yes!" I get that getting the single and album out right now is a top prioity. But in this day and age, a celebrity's internet presence is very, very important. It should be a priority too. I agree about the importance of a contact person. Even Ed was at least someone you could get to. and sorry I talked about contacting Eber .. it was a degree of frustration taking hold. I don't consider myself an entitled fan in the least,I consider myself someone who loves Adam and doesn't want him to start losing fans because of lack of good management and good communication. Even if Ed was rude because some of us gave him a bit of a time,we could reach him. Part of Adam's popularity ,besides his great voice, good looks, wonderful personality, was his accessibility.. To me, Adam, because of IDOL, is like the boy next door who we all know, who made good..Idol kind of makes you feel close ,invested.. so I just want to know that that sweet guy is doing fine and all is well.Just sayin..

But in this day and age, a celebrity's internet presence is very, very important. It should be a priority too.Yes and no. I am a big fan of Gaga, Pink and now Adele. I don't follow any of them on any fan site, nor do I know what the hell any of them are doing on a weekly basis. I like their music, own their CDs, and plan on going to their concerts. (I was literally one day away from paying a ridiculous price for tickets on Stubhub for Adele's Nashville concert, before the cancellation announcement.) There are 100x more Adam fans that are more like I am about artists I enjoy. They enjoy his voice, buy his CDs and plan to attend a concert if one comes to their area. They may even be "super fans" and try to catch him on tv shows or read interviews they find when they google his name. The top priority is for Adam to put out music that will get massive radio play. Next, he needs to have high profile performing appearances and other TV appearances that keep him in the public eye, such as M&M and PR. Adam also needs to make sure he is working the radio stations by giving interviews or doing special concerts and appearances. He needs to continue his promotion at a high level outside of the US. There are priorities and I suspect that RCA is running things on a "need to do" basis due to their consolidation and restructuring. This is a transition period![/b] This isn't having any impact on the thousands and thousands of casual fans. However, it is requiring some patience from some of the hard-core stans.
