Kinda missing the shallow end discussion about the newly shaved sides of Adam's head, and what that means for the album photoshoot.
I'd personally like to see the Monte discussion tabled for now. But, y'all are expressing your opinions without attacking each other (thanks for playing nice), so, if you need to continue to throw out ideas and opinions, go for it. Just remember to keep it glittery.

Hey y'all! I know there are a lot of emotions involved in this topic, and everyone has been fantastic about discussing it from all perspectives while also following the Atop guidelines. Thanks so much for that!  There is no reason not to discuss it here-- we're a discussion forum after all  Doesn't mean everyone has to agree, and of course we don't. It's pretty obvious we don't have all the facts, and it would be cool if at some point things were made more clear. Who knows if that will happen though. I'm quite certain that whatever we "see" publicly is just the tip of the iceberg... heh. |

In my opinion they should ALL be talking to lawyers right now not trying to placate a bunch of fans jumping to conclusions. Once they get their shit together about their legal options THEN and only then should they address this publicly. RCA has said this is being looked in to and other than putting those negative comments on the album link pages and blocking that twitter account we should back the fuck off. [wears mod hat] From what I can tell, based on the stuff I received this morning, the nonaction of "no comment until all facts are understood" is the direction being persued. No one is ready to comment on anything yet. When they are, they will comment. -HSM |

It's significant to me that Adam has only expressed frustration, by name, with producer Malcolm Welsford (the "mastermind" - "(but I mind)," as Adam tweeted. That's why I want to listen again to the interview in which I'm sure Adam referred to him, though not by name, while he was talking about Citizen Vein. (Someone else recall that?) I hope Adam and Monte's friendship, however deep/not deep it is, remains in tact - they go back, they've travelled the world together, Monte introduced Adam to Madonna -  , etc. Seems they already managed one bump (whatever exactly it was his wife's tweets were about). I think Adam's a good judge of character, and I find it hard to believe his friend, former band-mate, former guitarist and music director would really deliberately do anything to interfere with Adam's second album launch - that doesn't ring "likely," to me. |

The only word we have from Adam is that it isn't his vision. Adam's opinion is the only thing I care about. His word is all I need. That's the bottom line for me, too. ==== I can't wait for news on the single (the real single!). Fingers crossed for next week! |
