Of course- I'm not suggest you censor anyone - just adding my opinion to the mix. I just find it hard to believe that so many people have demonized a person without knowing more than 3 tweets worth without any context- it's not like I'm lining up to buy the album... Also - when I'm talking about "they" I mean Monte and Adam making statements so I'm not sure who you are calling a scumbag but man - people are so tense over this... I just meant wait for more info. I find it even weirder that the glamberts who rally around Adam and such great movements like noh8 and the concepts of acceptance and equality could so quickly resort to the tactics that the Christian right use when justifying homophobia or any other form of persecution and do so without enough information to make an informed decision. I love and respect everyone's passion for Adam and I am not one to tell anyone else how to be a fan (because I hate it when people do it to me) but I would ask anyone to just wait and see what happens before letting this get so... angry. This is a Adam fansite and discussion forum and while the topic may not be to everyone's liking, it's valid for discussion as long as Atop guidelines are followed. Which heretofore have been. |

I was wondering earlier what could be in those WF bags, but I figured out that is must be all take-out containers. double bagged and looks heavy.

Wow! Checking in and what do I see? Monty is now an asshat. I think I will back out of here maybe for good. Too much gossip and people not minding their own business. I hate that people are tweeting Monty about this stuff. Since when do we know it all and can assume things from where we stand. It's a sad day in here.  I tweeted one question to Monty quoting the web page. How was I sending Hateful comments to Him? Steve Cook is also posting and deleting and posting a second time blaming "Glamberts" for stuff we had nothing to do with. This whole thing is a mess. In the 1st post He blames Adam. Then in the second one He re-tracts that statement and blames the glamberts. I don't know what to think about this mess, but I have to admit that I find it to be a fascinating example of the modern day relationship between celebrity and fan. It wasn't very long ago that we wouldn't have learned about this kind of drama happening until Adam's or Monte's tell all biography was written. Instead fans learn about it in real time and become active participants in it, sometimes wielding significant influence in matters. Interesting times.
Re: the CV recordings: the only pre-idol original music I care for is the poppier stuff (kiss and tell, pop goes the camera). In fact, the only time I even really enjoy CTF is when watching Zodiac performance (because of course Adam can sell anything live and he was a glamtastic badass in that vid!). The songs are mediocre at best and I always skip them on my iPod. But I'm happy for those that enjoy these songs.
I hope this all blows over with friendships in tact.

I listened to the clips that devenlane made available and I have to say, I don't even like them. It's just not the way I like to hear Adam. I love his Pop sound and his beautiful voice during ballads. I love his rock sound during WLL, ROF, SFW. But, these do nothing for me. Oh and LOL for thos of us who frequent MJ's. It occurred to me, that Tuti is going to be lining up to buy this album!!  |
