Twitter hates my computer, so if any of y'all still awake have access, you might wanna start alerting the regulars. I'm wondering if DMs are better so that the Wordpress BFM site doesn't get spread all over Twitter. (and I ashamed to say this, but if someone wants to make a rip of BFM, I might accidentally listen to it, but I won't listen to it on that site)Should we delete the link and any leading information from ATOP? I'm all for anything that protects Adam! Thinking..... ETA: No, I personally don't think we should erase here. Malcolm W & Co. are making the site extremely easy to find. I think there needs to be a place on ATOP for people to openly question and think of responses. However, as always, Q3 has the final say in the matter and may make a different judgement. |

I and someone else reported it on the feedback/mod thread at AO as they specifically said to do regarding these albums. They also say you can email, but that email form seems to be a very general one that goes to a bunch of RCA divisions, so I had my doubts it would get read quickly. I think we're good. RCA will get on it soon, unless the AFL mods have contacts, and can be DM'ed on twitter. |

If anyone has DM'ing privleges with the AFL mods, now sounds like a good time to use them ( keep it short , provide the link in DM, keep the link off of open Twitter). Also, I haven't used the e-mail function on AFL for a while, but that's probably another good avenue if there's a place to specifically e-mail the mods there. Is anyone screencapping? |

If the link shows up on fan sites, the next to pick it up will be media sites and probably Perez. Would it hurt to delete it (just the link, not the discussion) until we see how far it spreads? You can always put it back up tomorrow. |

Ok - I'm on the fence about this last issue..... Should Adam's new managment company be e-mailed (not tweeted) with the link to this site, or is that seriously overstepping boundaries? What do you guys think? [bitterness] Of course this happens on a Friday night when everyone is going to be away for the weekend....It seems like it's in RCA's bailiwick to me. And they are already aware of and trying to manage the situation with the two bastard albums. The mods at adam official set up this thread and specifically indicated it was for information pertaining to this. I think they'll see it fastest given what time it is right now, it's the most direct route and the official channel for fans. |

Thinking..... you should make the URL unclickable (take off the http or something), hits might not matter as much because there aren't ads on the site, but google might index it if the full link shows up a lot of places. I would recommend either erasing or altering the links on this site, so that we don't contribute to increasing the Google PageRank for that site. It's the number of links (especially from sites like this that have a ton of links on a regular basis and are likely given more weight in Google's algorithm) that help sites appear higher in Google searches. I'm sure that's what that Malcolm jerk is hoping happens. Or at least edit the link so it's not clickable, that should be sufficient to make google ignore it. ETA: rabbitrabbit you read my mind! |
