Or there is more than one song which would make a good first single and they cannot decide which is the best There's gonna be single after single after single each one blowing up bigger than the one before it and by the time the album is released even Danny Gokey's asshat of a cousin will be standing in line at midnight for her copy. I'm a little mad at my make believe Gay boyfriend right now! :-/ I don't understand. I'm a little slow and dizzy from the twitter party. What do you mean? The perfectionism reply. Artist types can go on forever making their art "perfect." You know why? Because for artists, it never becomes perfect! Never!!! They will always find something to make it better. I just think he needs to give himself a deadline. On the positive side though, as far as the "no single chosen yet" tweet, I think it's because there are several possibilites and they are deciding which one to release first. It may even be that they are planning the sqeuence. I think if they had thought out the sequence of the singles on FYE better, we would have gotten 3-4 instead of just 2. When I look at Katy Perrys' singles, her label did it perfectly. And those of you worried about this being like Cook. Don't be. Cook did not produce a commercial album. I can't say it's not good because he really pours his heart out in it and for his fans, it is beautiful. But it is not commercial! IMO, Adam sounded extremely upbeat and fun in this twitter party. I don't see anything about him being "down." I think it is easy for one to projecct how they are feeling and impose a tone to what they are reading that has nothing to do with what is actually being said. I found it interesting that with all the tweets he's been getting about the bastard album and about Monte, that he chose to have a twitter party, but did not tweet anything about either controversy. ^^^ Just my opinion and what is running through my little brain right now.^^^^ |

@scclarke90 yes. He produced WWFM and If I Had You.
Other than that -- we really learned nothing new. With no release date on Oct 9th, pretty clear the single was not going to be released until November or later. And the album was early 2012 and still is Q1 2012.

I agree w/you Cassie. No real news that we didn't know, even him not sure what month the album is set to released. yup, but we get to push the "ish" out into Nov. - I get a feeling this was the major purpose and the message of the " tw. party"... I also take "spring - Feb/March" as "spring" - which to me is March/April/ May... :( |
