OK I have what I believe is the track list for BFM -- from the distributor. The songs are registered as written by Lambert-Pittman. A couple are under alternate titles. 1. BEG FOR MERCY 2. ROUGH TRADE 3. THE CIRCLE (registered as "Complete") 4. TURNING ON 5. JUST THE WAY IT IS6. SACRIFICE 7. POP GOES THE CAMERA (registered as "15 Minutes of Fame") 8. MP3s KILLED THE RECORD COMPANIES
9. CRAWL THROUGH FIRE10. RUN AWAY At least it has two of pre-Idol pop-rock tracks are on the album. This has been mentioned before, but if they released this album under the Citizen Vein name featuring Adam Lambert on vocals or whatevs - I think the whole fandom would jump on it. It's just so devious this way. >:( |

I interpret it as no Max Martin on album 2. Since we haven't heard about any meetings, seems like a good possibility. But it is also strange since Max produced his 2 hits. Maybe Adam didn't like Max's "iron hand" way of producing. Maybe Max wasn't available? It was clearly a dodge and Max has not been mentioned by anyone for months -- only at the odd awards ceremony when Adam and Kesha gave the awards to Max and Dr. Luke. Me thinks that Max is a tough cookie to deal with. He likes to be in control and so does Adam. So there might have been a conflict |

So there might have been a conflict Well, if you listen to P!NK's WWFM and Adam's they are identical, same backing track even. I think for Max it is "My way or the highway" and Adam wanted more creative control this time. |

I feel like *I* am going to explode with all this waiting!
I'm thinking because the album changed direction that a lot of tracks have been made but won't make the album. My greatest hope at this moment is that at some point we can get ALL of the songs, not just the ones that made the cut for the new style. Is it too much to hope for?

I would not be surprised at all if there are at least 2 singles out before the album and that seems to work well for artist (Katy P). I do think his focus has changed from the past. The current collaborators definitely seem more CHR and current. I think when he started the album he was in an introspective phase but now he seems up beat and funky. I still think it will be personal but probably more commercial. The buzz seems to be more recent so it is probably about this new direction he is going in. Although I'm impatient for the album, I don't mind waiting if there is good buzz and great singles out there. IA...I've wondered if the success of Adele with the focus on vocals have had some producers seeking that out and have been led to Adam, albeit later in the process... I want new music, but an very zen about the single & do think we'll get 2 before the album. |
