Wanted to delurk to state my opinion about Max Martin. I think it is almost impossible to imagine that Adam did not work with Max in some form for his new album. Max over the past year or so has been part of many hits with Bonnie, Bennie, Dr Luke, etc. I would not be the least bit surprised if you see his name and stamp on the songs that Bonnie and Bennie worked with him on, not to mention that Adam has stated that there are songs on the album that he did not write on, ala Max Martin material IMHO. Looks like (according to Stardust) we weren't the only ones wondering. Appreciate your asking for me! I always think of questions at the end of parties! Other question's I'd have asked: What is his very favorite specific place in the world? What is his favorite childhood memory? Name one obscure artist that he wishes could be mainstream famous. Does he ever get tired of talking about himself? Does he think his fan's idea of him as a person is accurate? Does he think a lot about making his music accessible? (there are more but I'll shut up now, because what's the point of imaginary tweeting?)  I like your questions.  |

I don't understand. I'm a little slow and dizzy from the twitter party. What do you mean? The perfectionism reply. Artist types can go on forever making their art "perfect." You know why? Because for artists, it never becomes perfect! Never!!! They will always find something to make it better. I just think he needs to give himself a deadline. On the positive side though, as far as the "no single chosen yet" tweet, I think it's because there are several possibilites and they are deciding which one to release first. It may even be that they are planning the sqeuence. I think if they had thought out the sequence of the singles on FYE better, we would have gotten 3-4 instead of just 2. When I look at Katy Perrys' singles, her label did it perfectly. And those of you worried about this being like Cook. Don't be. Cook did not produce a commercial album. I can't say it's not good because he really pours his heart out in it and for his fans, it is beautiful. But it is not commercial! IMO, Adam sounded extremely upbeat and fun in this twitter party. I don't see anything about him being "down." I think it is easy for one to projecct how they are feeling and impose a tone to what they are reading that has nothing to do with what is actually being said. I found it interesting that with all the tweets he's been getting about the bastard album and about Monte, that he chose to have a twitter party, but did not tweet anything about either controversy. ^^^ Just my opinion and what is running through my little brain right now.^^^^ Thanks, your comment is helpful. I think you may be right. I am projecting because of my current mindset. Regardless of the truth of Montegate it put all of fandom in a funk. |

I'm not too disappointed about not working with Max Martin. I see IIHY and WWFM as yesterdays sounds. Out with the old in with the new!  But when you say wwfm as yesterdays, isn't adele's someone like you very similar and angst? So how is that old? |
