I feel free to be me and not worry its too much. I still talk about Adam with my family but if they only knew the real extent they might roll their little eyes a bit and wonder whats wrong with me. I don't care. I have had more fun the last two years and looking forward it can only get betterer!  |

I have a hunch, don't really care if it's based off of reality or not, but i feel or think that the single will be announced either this week or next week. Earlier i had fears that it might not appear until next year, but now I'm confident that it'll come out real soon. Just throwing this out there...

I think the easiest way to nip this bastard album in the bud is to release the single and announce the name and date of the new album. But what do I know... not in marketing, just an anxious fan!  |

Rihannsu, I hope your van gets fixed and that it all turns out OK.
I feel as you do about yesterday. I have also been on the wrong side of a lynching. I internalize these things and do not find them fun at all. Again, not trying to rain on anyone else's parade. I think Monte is being punished for being inarticulate and unable to respond at the speed of Twitter. Perhaps I identify.
I learned some lessons from the Lisa twitter rant a few months back and am TRYING to keep some emotional distance. I'm obsessed, so that's very difficult. I admit I never expected when I became such a fan that there would be as much pain involved as well as fun, as there sometimes turns out to be.
Guess I should have known from years as a sports fan. My team got its butt kicked yesterday, and I've witnessed over the years how the team fandom tears itself apart in the wake of such events, crucifying the coach and various players. Again, some find it fun. Carry on ...

Whoever did this video was standing right in there beside me. I was front row on Tommy's side. That big oaf walked by me and went over into the crowd and stepped on starlyyte's foot. She was wearing sandals and thought for a while that he had broken a bone in her foot. DC was a GREAT concert. The 9:30 Club is very small (the stage was small too) and everybody in there could see him really well. Moral of the story: wear combat boots to GA concerts ;D That was my concert too, and I've never regretted the "sturdy" shoes I wore that day while we were all packed in like sardines! I also want to say the only reason I got tickets for that show was because of my board "family". My husband had gone in for emergency cardiac surgery, and there was no way that I was going to be playing games with Ticketmaster. But a whole team of [then Planet Fierce] "glamily" gathered round and jointly bombed the Ticketmaster site for me to MAKE SURE I had tickets to go. Q3 even found me a parking pass. I have never been so tearfully grateful that so many people I had never even met in person would do that for me. To this day, my RL family still talks about it in amazement. And that DC concert was utterly amazing. Sorry I didn't get to meet you or starlyyte there needacoke (next time!!), but I had a blast with sandyva, rjacks, schufly, and others who made me feel absolutely warm welcome. Love ya all!  We'll meet next tour, HSM! The TALC peeps were also there which is why I didn't even bother trying to video. tuke18 was standing a couple of people behind me and luv2laugh, flynnsgirl and Alikat1323 were 1st row balcony, I think. Of couse, being on the front row on the side where that big bouncer was standing, he would have gone after me FIRST if I'd had my camera. I just did some twitpics with my phone that night. |

Bridgeymah, you are not alone. NoAngel, great essay. Thanks for the words of encouragement. How I long for fun times again ... the fun and personal liberation that drew me to Adam in the first place. Cassie, I especially appreciated your words from yesterday. On the plus side ... IT IS POURING DOWN RAIN IN AUSTIN TEXAS. Rained all night. The most rain we have had in 13 months! Hope today is a better day and this week is a better week.  Tell us if flowers spring up tomorrow!!! |
