I am so proud today, I could burst. My daughter met an Air Force cadet at the Academy in Colorado Springs on a cruise with her dad in Spring, that just graduated as valedictorian of his class in Physics. Working on his Master's now in Quantum pysics. They have dated 6 months. Today she announced that she has broken up with him because is so narrow-minded and intolerant. He was talking marriage. I guess she is liberal thinking as I am and she said all they did was fight becasue his views were always the exact opposite of hers. The biggest differences was on gay issues and christian values. She said mom, when I saw how much you loved Adam, and explained to me how hard it is for gays, being born that way and the hatred and intolerance that is spewn, she explained how she couldn't accept a marriage partner that was so hateful. She said she didn't want her children being brought up in such an environment. She said they seemed to differ on everything. Proud mama today. Good for you and even better for her that she stopped to realize and really think about those differences. So many brush those things aside figuring that "he will change" or it won't matter. Good for her that she thought it through to the point of raising kids with those attitudes. |

I doubt that is the title, but stranger things have happened. I think it works. I get the meaning. His music is being reloaded and even his spirit, creative juices have been reloaded. It could be exactly how he feels right now. Regarding Scotty's numbers, those are not official yet as far as I know...just the HDD predictions. Sometimes they are pretty close and other times not so much. Tomorrow is when the real numbers come out. Sounds great for Scotty no matter what the final # is. Debut at #1...congrats to him. |

It is hard to do that in this market. FYE sold 198K in the first week. IF Adam's new album is really good, and he has a single on the radio, and they run a great pre-sale, Adam can book 200K in the first week. But he will not be coming off of Idol this time. That is a huge media platform. IF they had released WWFM 6 weeks before FYE, I think Adam would have sold 250K in week one. He sold 198K with limited radio support. |
