Adam is very smart. This entire situation is possibly best seen as a learning opportunity in the business side of his career. If this prevents Adam from making potentially more harmful business deals in the future then it is at least valuable in that respect. Adam has character. If he is betrayed personally or professionally by others, he (and we) can be so proud of who he is.

Hoppers, Luv Ya but I'm still disappointed in Monte for linking to and endorsing a product that is being marketed in such a deplorable manner. It isn't being marketed fairly, you know this. It doesn't say much about his ethics that he is ignoring this part of the situation. [shrugs helplessly] Gah, tina, this is just my POV, but I think he has addressed it in the only way he can. He says its old material. He says there's new material from both me and Adam and this isn't it. BTW, you really should check your PMs, I think it would...interest you.   I agree with you TinaFea and completely disagree with you Hoppers. Monte could have addressed the situation WITHOUT linking to the duplicitous website. The fact that he did that negates any "I can't do anything about it" he may cry. I also posted this on Twitter and vehemently believe it: People act like Monte did Adam a favor by LETTING him sing for CV. Monte was LUCKY AS FUCK that he got a voice like Adams to sing those songs |

Sort of off topic, for the moment, but in the LA area we are having our infamous Santa Anas. It is over 90 degrees and will barely cool off tonight. Tonight there will be no October fireplace roaring!  |

Let me add one more thing... Adam DOES potentially have leverage over this. He has lawyers, the money to pay lawyers, and potentially even a legal standing based on accepted business practices. Monte has none of those things. Monte cannot realistically win any fight. All he can do is explain the situation. Frankly, I don't understand why he isn't more upset that *his* name is missing. But I think he figures that he can't win, so all he can do is what he always hoped to do....get people to listen to his music. Frankly, if I were Monte, I'd be trying like hell to get my name back where it belongs. However, I just don't think Monte has any leverage. I quite concur hsm and frankly, do not understand the hate and character assasination going on. Monte is at least as big a victim as Adam in all this. I don't particularly care for this music so it is highly unlikely that I would buy it....so I have no ethical hurdles to cross thankfully. But to continue to beat on Monte seems really unfair to me. It is not his fault that Malcom Westwood is a slimebucket. He thru his name on his cd jacket before all this shit went down. It is also not Monte's fault that Lisa went on a rant months ago. He seems to have got that under control and mended what ever fences may or may not have needed mending with Adam. Monte has been fair and kind to Adam's fans [it cannot be easy ALWAYS... NOT... being the person people have come to see, even if and when you agree with it]. I do not understand trying to ruin someone elses reputation just because you can. One against one...fine. But this is thousands against one person who has no way to really arm themselves and who is going to lose no matter what they say or do. This is his art and life too. If Adam cannot stop this, why would anyone think Monte can!! I really don't get it. |

Well until Monte's name is put on the cover and Adam's is taken off, I'd have to disagree! This album would have never seeen the light of day if it were not for Adam's name and as Eber said, the shady packaging and timing, is riding on Adam's hard working coattails ETA: Don't see those dadbert tweets quoted on previous page on his twitter anymore.  |
