...but I think he should re-think tweeting specific stuff/advice related to Adam's career unless it's just being generally positive and his son's champion. Man, I wish I could get *my* dad to do that! I dunno, I've found that fathers, y'know, have their own opinions. Its not like Eber set up a twitter account that says "ImAdamsDad". Eber tweets about his own stuff. Occasionally he tweets about his kid (proud papa). I just don't think he's gonna restrict his own tweeting to be Adam's cheerleader or whatnot. He's his own person with his own opinions. I get that Eber does his own thing. It's just that when it concerns Adam, I wonder whether he furthering some strategic plan. Overthinking, I guess. |

Sorry just got here but I just read the letter Monte put out and went to the link okay had to and then I listened to beg for mercy and all i have to say is Holy Sh-t I hope some of his songs sound like that on his new album!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, I wonder what would happen if a song that Adam and Monte collaborated on actually made it on Adams new album, (Not very likely, just stirring) Boy oh boy this fandom, The shit will probably definitely hit the fan then.. Sorry, just all of this is disturbing my cool. I miss my happy place :( I think it is possible Adam and Monte will work together again. And, I think if it's cool with Adam, it will be with most of his fans. I could actually see Adam saying something akin to "well, we didn't see completely eye to eye on that, but . . ." ) I'm not betting on Adam working with Welsford again. I feel that Adam will work with Monte again as well. It just seems that all of these fans jumping on Monte without really knowing what's going on behind the scenes. People are just jumping on things like, and acting as if Adam's and Monte's friendship are on the outs now because of this. Sorry, but this feels a lot to like those serious Adommy shippers, "Oh you kissed, made-out on stage so you must be dating or together." "Monte you thanked Welsford on liners note and "promoting" this album, against Adam's wishes, so you must be behind this and in cahoots with Malcolm, and now Adam and your relationship must be rocky now.." Whatevs..told myself that I was staying out of this.. :-/ |

Monte's link to the site is for two reasons and I think he's saying this:
1) - Listen to the music, this is not Adam being a session singer. It does have Adam's vision on it. This is not the same as Take One
2) - Monte has no power over it, this is the guy and site who is in charge, turn your Glambert power of persuassion on them. You've made a lot of other people sing a new tune.
I propose we have ONE goal
Convince Malcolm Welsford to rebrand the album by incorporating
a) Featuring Adam Lambert or Adam Lambert - the Citizen Vein era instead of branded Adam Lambert but still enough that yes it will be stocked with Adam's real albums
b) Before he became a household name
c) Supported by band members...names here
d) When Adam was into Rock
Do not try to change the timing, that's a money issue and he's not going to budge.
It's still sleaze but it's less sleaze and if he will give on the labeling scam then put Glambert support toward it.
Yes, Adam may still not be thrilled, and he can't officially be supportive because of RCA contract but he also made his earlier twitter comments on the spur of the surprise moment. He's got the makings of a good politician, he can spin the positives out of this.
And if we can't stop the Album's timing then a positive launch of the BFM album actually could be helpful in building positive vibes for the Lambert brand. OMG he's so popular even his early stuff is selling like hot cakes.
And if nothing else. Those who have always wanted either a rock album from Adam or who are looking for xmas presents will have the option.

I'm almost positive Adam will continue working with Monte.....don't think any of OUR opinions matter in the least. He's a loyal friend.
