Sorry just got here but I just read the letter Monte put out and went to the link okay had to and then I listened to beg for mercy and all i have to say is Holy Sh-t I hope some of his songs sound like that on his new album!!!!!!!!!!!! I may be crazy but I think there is ZERO chance anything on Adam2 will sound remotely like BFM. LOL...really....it's at least 5 years old...and sounds it

Omg, that is so hilarious. Referring to MJ's Evening headlines thread, someone said that Adam is only going to be a one hit wonder etc. : And the person sarcastic response is hilarious.

Hm. Well, it's likely they won't, y'know, 'cuz Adam's said as much, I think. But there'll probably be a few more new old albums ahead . . . Yep, cause there are a bunch more CV songs out there, so I expect they will put them out with Adam #3 and #4 cause it's all profit for this weasel!. I wish Adam had unlimited funds so he could buy up all the songs he wrote pre-idol and shelve them for now. Down the road he could decide if he wanted to release any of them.

Anyone thinking of buying the album might want to read the comments left on Monte's blog post. Most fans are being very eloquent, balanced and polite, and though there is a range of opinion, the fact that what is at issue for most is the deceptive marketing, timing and titling of the thing is really made clear. Ultimately for me it doesn't really make a huge numeric impact what a small group of fans who follow Monte as well as Adam choose to do individually, I'll leave the ethical question out of it just for arguments sake. It matters what confused casual fans of Adam do on Amazon, itunes and in record stores, and the impact of possible lost sales, and confusion about his musical direction.Who knows how the final numbers will work out, and how many of the "Take One" 100k units sold could have been FYE sales instead instead of just additional buys, but I feel bad for anyone who mistakenly took Take One home, and will mistakenly do the same for this album. If this was just a 'Citizen Vein featuring Adam Lambert and Monte Pittman!' release, especially one at a different time and MARKETED CLEARLY AS SUCH, and Adam didn't explicitly come out against it, lots of stans would probably check it out. I think Welsford is making a financial calculation that he doesn't mind losing the hardcore fan buyers who will boycott and making Adam mad, because he figures the deceptive marketing will end up getting him more total buyers in the end, many of whom don't know Adam's stance on the release, and even that it's not his official release. I can't support it on any level. Bolded part is what really frustrates me to no end. >:( And the fact that Adam, from his tweet, is clearly pissed about it makes me upset for him - that he has to deal with this right now while he's trying to finish up on some songs, get ready for promo, etc. The way BFM is being presented is just wrong at every level - at least IMO. Think I'll go watch some mindless TV.

(I really would love to flail about the new single, I would - but it's just hard for me to do that because I haven't heard it yet. * sigh * I could flail about a photo-shoot pic . . . if we HAD a photo-shoot pic . . . BUT we don't. * sigh * Maybe if Adam voiced an opinion about the GOP debates, or Beyonce's belly bump brouhaha, or OccupyWallStreet, or something! But, no . . . So, I'm just post-vomiting about this BFM and Monte . . .) LOL, Bridget, I had to quote you so I don't forget to ask a question about something you just vomited up here... But first, Marie 23, you said: "Monte you thanked Welsford on liners note and "promoting" this album, against Adam's wishes, so you must be behind this and in cahoots with Malcolm, and now Adam and your relationship must be rocky now.." I posted that thanks to Welsford on M's cd today, but I sure did not post it while thinking the rest of your sentence, lol! And MsZue, you mentioned people hating on Monte--I truly haven't seen that here. The whole Lisa thing just made me feel sorry for him and I don't blame him for BFM at all--I just don't understand why his "statement" includes that sleazy website. And he IS actively promoting BFM, IMO. That still doesn't mean I hate him. Not at all. But it doesn't "sit well" with me. I don't feel sorry for him in the least regarding BFM, because it is NOT going to interfere with HIS new CD sales in any way, shape or form. BFM DOES NOT EVEN HAVE HIS NAME ON IT. For that, I do have a bit of sympathy for him. Yes, he plays second fiddle to Adam's SOLO career, because he's just a member of a band. Longineau wanted to pursue his OWN music, so he did. Cam pursues hers AND plays in Adam's band. I don't think SHE thinks it's a tough gig to be in the background as part of A's backup band. BTW, Adam tweeted about the release of Monte's PLD. I didn't see Madonna or Prong tweet support about the release of PLD. And now Monte is saying how much he loves this music. But I don't think Adam ever loved that music as much as Monte did. Well, I've digressed too far--bottom line, I'm disappointed in Monte. I DON'T HATE HIM. I don't want to string him up. I don't care a bit how others see this. I just don't like it when hyperbole takes over. Now, BRIDGET--OT, but must ask--I saw the Beyonce baby bump vid you refer to in your word vomit, lol--and if you or anyone has a link that explains that situation, would you pm me? I just couldn't figure that vid out! AND ONCE AGAIN, YAY FOR SICK BEATS ON A NEW SINGLE!!

Am I gonna make a judgment about what Monte thinks or feels, or what his relationship with Adam is or should be after this issue? Can't. Without knowing Monte personally, seeing his interaction with Adam off stage, in private, seeing his interaction with others off stage, or having the opportunity to "cross examine" him, I cannot convict him of anything "beyond a reasonable doubt" or based on "the preponderance of evidence." Good to know you won't be swayed by the other jury members who want to convict, convict, convict! Ha! Too bad we can't have an honest to goodness trial. Adam would be called to testify! I think I'm going to fantasize about Adam being on the witness stand now. The thought's making me smile as we speak. Try the directed dreaming mentioned earlier in the thread.

I love Cheeks, too, and I love Husbands! I hope it finds a place on network TV. The humor on it reminds me of my new favorite show, New Girl. Very few shows these days make me literally laugh out loud many times throughout the episode, but New Girl does and Husbands does. Whew! It feels good to talk about something other than Monte and BFM!
