I'm not even going to opine on what Monte wrote, because I'm in no position to gauge whether he's being truthful. But one thing has stood out to me.
Adam's silence.
Monte has been taking a beating on Twitter ever since the bastard albums were announced. We know it. Certainly Adam knows it, too. Adam has a history of calling out his fans when they hassle people he cares about.
He hasn't done it this time.
At least so far, he's leaving Monte twisting in the wind, and that's just so uncharacteristic of him. He wouldn't have to go into detail, or even confirm or deny Monte's involvement. Just a tweet telling his fans to lay off his friend would be sufficient. Thus far, there has been no such tweet. No attempt to stop the abuse. NGL, I'd love to know the reason (and I don't buy that he's "too busy" to do it. It would take seconds).
